Born from the primal waters of pure chaos, Gaia was one of the original five Gods of Greece. She is the Earth Goddess, and is as strong and immovable as the world itself.
Gaia is a resilient hero that can endure a lot of damage and stack more Health as she gets hit, only to end up fighting back just like a ticking bomb that blows up if not dealt with quickly enough. These main advantages require her to generate a maximum of stacks before proving herself useful, which thus needs her to get hit a lot in the first place. This strategy is risky as Gaia must not die while this happens. Thankfully she can chase and focus on one enemy to try to impair them as much as possible.
Her weapon allows her to increase her Earthly Vein skill’s stack limit to up to 10, the last hit of her ultimate to knock the enemy in the air for 1.5s and reduce her Rocky Semblance skill’s regeneration cooldown to 7s. Her weapon’s stats are biased towards Defense while forsaking Attack and Physical Resist.
Her kit is made of only 1 active and 2 passives. Her active skill consists of charging at an enemy knock them into the air stunning them for 1.5s, dealing up to 250% damage and adding an extra 20% damage for each stack of vein. This vein can increase her max Health by 4% and be obtained through a passive. Her first passive increases her stacks for every 25% lost Health at the very least (maximum 6) and also help her recover 50% of the increased Health. The second passive gives Gaia a shield buff increasing her Defense by up to 60% until she is hit by a CC; the shield will then dissipate to remove it, recover her Health by up to 5% every second for 5s and be regenerated after 10s. Her ultimate inflicts burst damage amounting to up to 9.6% of her max Health to nearby enemies and reducing their Attack Speed by up to 50% for 3s.
Born from the primal waters of pure chaos, Gaja was one of the original five creation Gods of Greece. She is the “Earth Goddess,” or the pure representation of the nature of the world itself – being strong and difficult to move. She is also a very clever tactician. It was she who conspired and helped to remove the first two Titan-Kings of Greece, Uranus and Cronus.
With her first husband Uranus, the Titan of Aether, Gaia birthed the first pantheon. Gaia loved all her children, even the one-eyed cyclops and hundred-handed, Hecatonchires. Uranus was afraid that these children would eventually take over his power though. Therefore, he locked these Titans in Tartarus, and Gaia was absolutely heartbroken. Immediately, she orchestrated Uranus’ overthrow by having her son Cronus attack his father. At this moment, the Aether (heavenly air) split from Earth forever. Unfortunately, it didn’t take long for Cronus to become a tyrant king as well. He, too, was fearful of his own kids and actually swallowed them. Again, Gaia felt forced to intervene. This time it was Cronus’ youngest son, Zeus, who was used by her to overthrow the Titan-King. Cronus was then locked in Tartarus. Zeus had promised Gaia that if he were able to obtain the power, he would release all the Titans that are locked up, but he did not keep his word once he witnessed how powerful the Titans were. Again, Gaia was deceived. With Zeus’ betrayal of Gaia’s rules, he is now facing the wrath of the Earth Goddess.
