Hikorshi

The Hikorshi is a slim, well-built quadrupedal lizard-like canine, with rather smooth almost salamander-like skin. It sports a long tapering tail that has unique stripes going towards the end, with it being bioluminescent. It sports several bioluminescent spikes and patterns around its body. The head is uniquely lined with two pincer-like protrusions from its head pointing downwards towards its lower jaw, two horn like spikes near the top of the Hikorshi's head, and the eyes are relatively small, and in its maw lies a floating tongue. Its color palette consists of dark blues, grays, neon greens and cyan.

**Males**: Males appear to have a floating crystal protruding through its chest and back, somewhat akin to the protrusions found surrounding a time gear.

• Hikorshi tend to act similar to wolves, as they can be found in a small group or alone. They stalk their prey only at night, they can be found in the swamp or redwoods at day, because there is a lot of trees for hiding.

• Original concept and redesign by @Kyrobii on the Creatures of Sonaria Discord. The Hikorshi is inspired by an image off Pinterest, if the concept creator is able to find it again it will be mentioned on this page. It was featured on one of the game's first thumbnails. The thumbnail Hikorshi is a female and it can be found below in the gallery. It is stated in its description that the Hikorshi is able to "turn off" its bioluminescence (or the natural glow that its body emits). But, this is currently not possible in-game. It may be an ability implemented in the future, as something similar has been stated in Sarchias's description, though nothing is confirmed yet. Hikorshi was the first unreleased creatures with a remodel before being released, next was Venatrox.

• There is a buff version of this creature, known as “Buff-korshi” on the Creatures of Sonaria Discord. The meme appeared because of the appearance of the creature, having a more muscular build instead of its usual thin anatomy.
• On 9/10/20, the Hikorshi Gas Mask was released on the Roblox avatar shop for 75 Robux. The item was made by TamBrush.
• The Hikorshi had green turquoise blood in legacy. Due to this, when killed, the Hikorshi drops a green turquoise carcass in Legacy. This is an actual color in some Earth creatures, from those that use hemocyanin, a blue oxygen carrier that replaces hemoglobin in some invertebrate's blood; albeit not on this shade, or chlorocruorin, a green oxygen carrier that replaces haemoglobin in other invertebrates; and in some vertebrates (like some green tree skinks) that have adapted to carry lethal amounts of biliverdin in their blood, a toxic byproduct of heme catabolism, whose only good side is that it has anti-mutagenic properties. However it is more likely the colour has been done as a way to explain its overall green turquoise bioluminiscence.
• Around the time of the Hikorshi's release, the creator of the creature asked Xan_TheDragon for 10 copies of the species. Xan gave them 69,420 copies instead.
