Abilities

Poison Area
Poison Area/Area Poison is an active ability that inflicts 5 stacks (15 seconds) of the Poison Status to all nearby creatures within 100 studs, excluding the user, with a 90 second cooldown.
Bleed Attack (6)
Bleed Attack is a passive ability, where the user inflicts a specific amount of bleed status on a creature with every bite, excluding with breath/ranged abilities or reflecting abilities. A negative value means that it heals an amount of such status upon biting.
Block Bleed (0.45)
Bleed Block/Block Bleed is a percentage based passive ability that grants the user resistance to getting bleed status from melee attacks at minimum. If an attacker deals 5 bleed per hit and the receiver has 60% Block Bleed, then the receiver gets only 2 of that 5 bleed. This ability is gained gradually as the creature ages. If a creature's Block Bleed is 100%, then they are immune to Bleed inflicted by melee direct attacks once fully grown. If a creature's Block Bleed is negative, it may indicate an extra vulnerability to the status effect.
Block Poison (0.35)
Block Poison/Poison Block is a passive ability that grants resistance to poison status once they reach max age (100). Like many other block defenses, it works by blocking a percentage of the ailment received. If a creature's Poison Block is 100%, then they are immune to those stats (and will be healed instantly if they are somehow applied) once they reach age 100.
Block Injury (0.15)
Injury Block/Block Injury is a passive ability that grants the user resistance to getting Injury status from melee attacks at the very least. It is percentage based, e.g. if an attacker deals 5 Injury per hit and the receiver has 60% Injury Block, then the receiver gets only 2 of that 5 Injury.
Charge (Power)
Charge is a passive ability that gradually fills an orange "Charge" bar (unique to creatures with this ability) while running. Once completely full, clicking (Lmb on PC or on Mobile or RT on Xbox) will apply special effects on a creature the user is hitting. If the bar is not full, charge effects may be reduced or non-existent. Current Charge types:
Defensive Disease (4.5)
Defensive Disease is a passive ability where the user defensively inflicts a specific amount of Disease status on an attacker upon getting bitten.
Iron Stomach
Iron Stomach is a passive ability that allows the user to eat rotten meat without getting negative ailments from it--preventing them from getting the Sickly Status.
Serrated Teeth
Serrated Teeth is a passive ability that offensively inflicts Deep Wounds status when biting.

Behavior

  • The Lus-Adarch's tail and frills birth spores of pollen that blind its attackers. Its mouth and internal organs are the only non-plant matter of its body, and therefore consistently secrete a digestive acid similar to pitcher plants.
  • The Lus-Adarch has a very severe rivalry with the Kendyll, for unknown reasons.

Trivia

  • The Lus-Adarch was designed (and modeled) by NauticaElurra (@Naut#6122) Lus-Adarch drew inspiration from "corpse flower", or "rafflesia", the largest flower in the world with a horrible stench. The Lus-Adarch is entirely made of fungal wood. Its frills are thick and heavy, and leather-like.
  • Animated by Nimwit (Trial Developer).
  • It is the first Tier 5 photocarnivore.
  • It was the first photocarnivore without the ambush ability.
  • In Legacy, the Lus-Adarch has dark pink blood. While in real life, purple-violet blood exists due to hemerythrin, a respiratory pigment of a purplish/violet color once oxygenated, which replaces hemoglobin in several invertebrates, this specific shade of pink is actually seen commonly in some vertebrates (including humans) suffering from some blood problems. On this case it seems to be a reference to its inspiration, the rafflesia.
  • In Recode, its blood is red.
  • The Lus-Adarch resembles or is an unguligrade. This means that it walks on its claws/hooves/nails only, not unlike ungulates, the group which includes cows, deer, hippopotamus and whales.
