How to Use the Wordle Solver

After each guess in Wordle, the game tells you which letters are correct (green), misplaced (yellow), or not in the word (gray). Enter that information here to see all possible answers.

• Green tiles — type the letter in the matching position. For example, if your first letter turned green, type it in the first green box.
• Yellow tiles — type the letter in the position where Wordle showed it as yellow. The solver will find words that contain that letter but in a different position.
• Gray letters — type all gray letters into the "Incorrect Letters" field. These will be excluded from results.

Wordle Tips & Strategy

• Start with a word rich in common vowels and consonants, like CRANE, SLATE, or ADIEU.
• Your second guess should test new letters — avoid reusing gray letters.
• Pay attention to letter frequency. E, A, R, O, T, L, I, S, and N are the most common letters in English five-letter words.
• If you have multiple yellow letters, think about common letter combinations and word patterns.
• Remember that Wordle answers never include plurals ending in S or past tenses ending in ED.
