Every stand in Bizarre Lineage ranked for PvP — combos, damage, guard breaks, and 1v1 dominance. Updated tier list from S to C tier.

This tier list is based on combo potential, how long you can keep someone locked in a string, and how easy those combos are to pull off. Damage matters, but so does consistency.
These stands dominate in 1v1s. Crazy combos, high damage, and most of them have tools that leave your opponent with no counterplay.
The World AUSpammy, techy, and one of the most fun stands to PvP with. Follow-up attacks on moves give you tons of mixup potential. It has a long-range guard break, a time stop, and a giant bomb that hits like a truck.
The range alone makes it oppressive. S tier, no question.
Star PlatinumAbsolutely busted. The combos you can do with this stand are insane — a bunch of grabs into more grabs into a long-range spear at the end. Plus it has a time stop.
Pair it with a good fighting style like Vampire or Cyborg and it's over. Broken stand.
AnubisGood for farming, good for PvP. High damage combos that are crazy easy to pull off, and it combos with a lot of sub abilities and fighting styles.
Half HP combos are common with Anubis. Some players can take your entire bar. Easily S tier.
Purple HazeBest PvP stand, full stop. So much damage, so much range, and it literally fights for you. When you get into a 1v1 and it becomes a 2v1, the fight is over.
Broken. S tier.
King CrimsonOne of the most satisfying PvP stands in the game. Crazy combos, high single-target damage, and the Epitaph counter is incredible when it works. After a successful counter, you can follow up with devastating attacks.
The counter does bug out sometimes, which is frustrating, but the overall kit is easily S tier.
White SnakeBrain dead good. So many combos, a long-range guard break that hits like a truck, and a goo trap that stuns and extends combos. On top of all that, you can remove their stand.
Nobody would debate White Snake being S tier in PvP.
The WorldA PvP demon. Time stop, crazy combos, crazy autotrack, and fast wind-up moves. Everything about this stand is built for PvP.
Easily S tier. Any of these top stands would be a joy to use in 1v1s.
C-MoonYou can just move stack with this stand. It does really high damage, combos easily with pretty much anything, and you don't even have to think to use it.
Pick it up, press some random keys, and you'll figure out a combo. Super easy, super strong. S tier.
Stone FreePossibly the best S tier stand overall. People get 100-to-zeroed with this. You can run away and heal, get in and combo, grab — it does everything.
It has an autotracking guard break and the amount of combos you can do is absolutely absurd. A PvP monster.
Great stands that can carry fights, but they either require more skill or have specific weaknesses that keep them out of S.
Crazy DiamondCrazy Diamond is crazy. Insane combos and solid base move set. It doesn't hit quite as hard as Star Platinum and lacks a time stop, and switching to heal mode mid-fight is awkward.
But the raw combo game is really good. Solid A tier.
Golden ExperienceDoesn't have many combos, but that doesn't matter. Play passive, counter with the frog, reflect damage, heal, and range them. You can stall out any fight.
Wait for your opponent to burn through their power bar, then go in. You have to play annoying for it to work, but it works. A tier.
Wizard PortoReally good in PvP but it's mainly spam rather than true combos. If your opponent is aggressive and gets in on you, the rain stops hitting and your C move is hard to land.
You have to play passive and space correctly. Still incredibly strong, but the reliance on spacing keeps it in A tier.
These stands can work, but they require specific setups or have clear weaknesses that better stands don't.
Red Hot Chili PepperNobody uses it, but the people who do can be terrifying. Some RHCP users have insane combos that will fry you. Pairs well with Hamon.
Not a hard carry stand, but if you're really good with it, it could be A tier. B tier by default since nobody reps it.
Killer QueenMost attacks are blockable, hard to confirm combos, and even when you land hits the damage isn't crazy. The bubble bomb is the best move — it applies pressure and lets you go in.
You can make it work, but it's just a lot harder than the stands above. B tier.
Made in HeavenA disappointment. It's fast, yes, but the combos are near non-existent. You can maybe string two moves together and that's it. Can't spam Z because they'll just block.
The speed and being hard to catch are the only real advantages. Not terrible, but not good either. B tier.
You can PvP with these, but you're fighting an uphill battle. Slow wind-ups and limited combo potential hold them back hard.
The HandDoes really high damage — that's the gimmick. Charges up and swipes for half your HP. But in actual PvP, landing that is rough. Barely anyone uses it, and for good reason.
C tier. Maybe someone out there has a crazy combo, but nobody's found it yet.
Magicians RedSame problem as The Hand: really long wind-ups make it nearly impossible to land combos. Every fight with a Magicians Red user ends the same way — they just can't land their moves.
Unless you stack a ton of stun somehow, you're going to struggle. C tier.
