Every stand in Bizarre Lineage ranked for PvE farming and PvP combat. Updated tier lists from S to C tier.

The logic here is straightforward:
With that out of the way, here's every stand ranked from S to C tier.
These two stands are in a class of their own. If someone on your team is running one of these, you win the game. That's it.
Purple HazePossibly the best farming stand in the entire game. Press the bulb move and watch HP bars disappear. You can cheese any boss with it. The AoE damage is absurd, and when Rampage mode kicks in, you don't even need to touch your keyboard — it plays itself.
Purple Haze is the stand you pick when you want to actually clear content instead of struggling through it.
Wizard PortoNot definitively the best, but it comes dangerously close. Insane AoE, insane damage, tons of stun, and it helps your entire team while doing all of it.
You can literally press X and go AFK and still win. The amount of value this stand brings to group content is hard to overstate.
You wouldn't be mad seeing any of these in your raid. They all bring strong damage, solid range, or enough utility to carry their weight.
White SnakeThe gun on White Snake hits like a truck, and the range on it is absurd. Drop the goo trap with C, follow up with the gun, and you're looking at a disgusting amount of damage in two button presses.
Scale with DE, and that goo trap alone does obscene damage. White Snake is borderline S tier. It's that good.
C-MoonThis one almost landed in S tier. The stun is ridiculous, the AoE X move hits hard, and the raw damage output is high across the board. What holds it back slightly is that it lacks the sheer AoE coverage of Weather Report.
Still, it's one of the best farming stands in the game. The stun alone makes fights so much smoother.
AnubisHigh A tier. Anubis brings big 360 AoE slashes, a lot of combos, and strong damage. The only real downside is that the M1 range feels a bit short compared to other A-tier picks.
That said, it's been a reliable farming stand across a lot of content. If you need something that does consistent AoE damage up close, Anubis delivers.
Magicians RedThe AoE on Magicians Red is crazy for farming. Burn damage stacks up fast and it pairs well with the Avdal boss passives for even more free damage.
The trade-off is long windups on most moves. You need to play at range and space yourself properly, but once you get that rhythm, it clears content well.
The World AUThe World AU is here for one reason: the range is absolutely absurd. You can cheese bosses without ever getting close. No risk, no need to dodge — just spam from a distance and they won't touch you.
It does take longer to clear compared to the higher-ranked stands, but in group scenarios, pressing V with the right perks makes it incredibly strong. Safety over speed, and sometimes that's exactly what you need.
Crazy DiamondA genuinely solid all-around pick. Crazy Diamond has three full skill sets — two bearing attacks, a healing mode, and two wall moves. That's more variety than most stands on this list.
What sets it apart is the healing. It can bring teammates back to full HP, making it a better healer than both Golden Experience and Stone Free. If someone in your raid is running Crazy Diamond and pressing X to heal, you're never dying.
These stands can get the job done, but they're not ideal for farming. If you show up to a raid with one of these, expect some raised eyebrows.
The HandWith the right build, The Hand can one-shot Avdal. It probably has the highest single target and spirit damage in the game. Against a tanky boss where you just need to shred HP fast, it's a great pick.
Outside of single target though? Mid. In any scenario with multiple enemies, you're going to struggle.
Star PlatinumGood for 1v1 scenarios. Star Platinum has a time stop, easy grabs, and — the reason it ranks above other B-tier stands — a high-damage ranged move that actually hits hard.
It's not a farming stand by any stretch, but you'd pick it over King Crimson or Killer Queen thanks to that range.
The WorldThe normal World does decent damage, but everything about it is single target. The auto-track is single target. The barrage kicks them up and it's single target. Compared to The World AU, it has noticeably less range.
Not ideal for farming. That says it all.
Made in HeavenThis one's going to be controversial, and that's fine. Made in Heaven is not that good for PvE. Most of its hits are single target despite all the speed. The dashes are fast, sure, but they're not doing AoE damage, and you get caught easily once you stop moving.
It's great for aura farming and running around the map at light speed. For actual content? Not the move.
If you're bringing one of these to a raid: what are we doing?
Killer QueenKiller Queen has range, which is a plus, but it auto-tracks onto a single target and the damage output isn't that high. In any group scenario with multiple enemies, it just doesn't do enough.
King CrimsonHigh single target damage, sure, but zero AoE. In raids, world events, or any group content, King Crimson struggles hard. On top of that, the Epitaph counter sometimes just gets nulled for no apparent reason — possibly bugged.
Golden ExperienceMainly a healing stand with not much range and not much else going for it. The healing is nice, but it's not enough to justify using it over stands that can actually deal damage while also providing utility.
Stone FreeAbsolutely horrible for farming. Never use this. Stone Free is a PvP stand that somehow ended up in PvE, and it shows. Very low damage, constantly locked in grab and combo animations.
Red Hot Chili PepperPlaced in C tier by default because it's barely been used by anyone. Nobody runs it. The moves seem underwhelming.
