Appearance

Eulopiis are quadrupedal, frog-like creatures with a stout body, and a huge, flower bud-like tail. Their main body colors consist of various shades of green, with pink flowers and a pink underbelly. All over its back and by its elbows, the creature has flowers, including lily pads, and sprouts. Additionally, its back has a dark green puddle-like design where most of the flowers seem to grow, with patterns of pale green rings around it. The chest has a light pink, heart-shaped design with what looks like a single petal on each side. Eulopiis have a sprout extending from the top of their heads. They possess huge, round, non-bulging eyes, and has four toes on each foot. They also seem to lack a neck.

**Males**: Males have a flower bud on top the sprout on their heads and a single eyelash on both eyes.

Trivia

  • Designed by @xinnten on the Creatures of Sonaria Discord server. This creature was not inspired by anything in particular, and was said to have "came straight out of the noggin" (quoted by concept creator xinnten). The name may derive from Eulophia, an orchid.
  • Modeled by TamBrush.
  • There was supposed to be a UGC catalog item for it, but it was removed due to Roblox deeming it 'inappropriate'.
  • It was one of the first confirmed creatures in Creatures of Sonaria.
  • It has pink blood. Due to that, it drops a pink carcass in the Legacy version when dying. While in real life purple-violet blood exists due to hemerythrin (a respiratory pigment of a purplish/violet color once oxygenated, which replaces hemoglobin in several invertebrates), this specific shade of pink is actually seen commonly in some vertebrates (including humans) suffering from some blood problems. Despite its unique blood and bone color in Legacy, Eulopii's Easter Event counterpart, Buff Eulopii, drops a carcass with default coloration. This will not be changed, as the Legacy version is no longer receiving updates.
  • Legacy Eulopii was the smallest creature in the game to date, standing at about the height of Jeff's knee when fully grown. Due to this, the baby version was so tiny the model would slide around and sometimes clip into walls and fall out of the map. Eulopii has since been redesigned, and sized up, so it’s lost its “The smallest creature title”, and Alkaksu, the second smallest creature in-game, became the smallest one.
  • Stood_04 created joke art inspired by the Eulopii that led to the creation of the Buff Eulopii.
