Garden Horizons Calculator
Calculate sell prices, mutation bonuses, and harvest profits
Updated to Patch v1.1.0

Money Methods
Early-Game
Focus on
Beetroot,
Corn,
Mushroom, and
Wheat. Flip single-harvest crops every restock cycle to build capital.
Mid-Game
Rose,
Wheat,
Cabbage,
Banana,
Potato, and
Octobranch. Transition to multi-harvest plants for passive income.
Rose Sprinkler Method: Plant 20+
Rose → place one of each sprinkler → keep harvesting until your stash is full and selling until the sprinkler timer runs out. You can make $10M+ in 15 minutes depending on how many roses you have.
End-Game
Olive,
Dawnblossom,
Cabbage,
Bamboo, and
Mango. Stack mutations for massive payouts.
How the Sell Price Formula Works
The final sell price of any crop in Garden Horizons is calculated as: Base Price × Variant Total × Mutation Total × (Weight ÷ Avg Weight)².
Variants (growth stage, Silver, Gold) add together, then multiply the mutation total. Mutations also add together. Weight has a squared effect — a crop at double its average weight sells for 4× more from weight alone. The in-game weight display rounds to two decimals, so the calculator shows a range of possible values.
Ripening Times
Every fruit starts at Unripe and progresses toward Lush over time. The ripening duration is based on the plant's base growth time:
- Unripe → Ripened: 2.4× the plant's base growth time
- Ripened → Lush: 7.2× the plant's base growth time
Plants and fruits grow while you're offline, but ripeness does not advance offline. You must be in-game for the Lush timer to tick.
Single vs Multi-Harvest Plants
Single-harvest plants produce one fruit and must be replanted. They sell for a huge amount relative to seed cost once they reach Lush. Best for building capital fast early on.
Multi-harvest plants produce fruit repeatedly without replanting. Each individual fruit has a lower base sell price, but they generate passive income over time. Transition to these once you can afford the expensive seeds.
Single-Harvest Ranking
Ranked by ROI at Lush (3.0x), average weight. These are your money printers — buy every restock cycle.
| # | Plant | Seed | Sell (Lush) | Profit | ROI | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Carrot | $20 | $90 | $70 | 350% | Best early flip |
| 2 | Onion | $200 | $660 | $460 | 230% | Solid upgrade |
| 3 | Beetroot | $2,500 | $6,000 | $3,500 | 140% | Mid-game king |
| 4 | Wheat | $12,000 | $21,600 | $9,600 | 80% | Best late-game flip |
| 5 | Cabbage | $150,000 | $180,000 | $30,000 | 20% | Trap — terrible ROI, skip unless Gold |
| 6 | Watermelon | $2,000,000 | $750,000 | -$1,250,000 | -62% | Massive loss at base — only with mutations |
Multi-Harvest Ranking
Ranked by breakeven speed. After breakeven, every fruit is pure profit forever.
| # | Plant | Seed | Per Fruit | Breakeven | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Corn | $100 | $45 | 3 harvests | Fastest payback, low income |
| 2 | Apple | $7,000 | $810 | 9 harvests | Best value for the price |
| 3 | Strawberry | $800 | $96 | 9 harvests | Cheap but low per-fruit |
| 4 | Rose | $10,000 | $960 | 11 harvests | Solid mid-tier pick |
| 5 | Mushroom | $1,500 | $120 | 13 harvests | Slow payback for the price |
| 6 | Banana | $30,000 | $2,250 | 14 harvests | Good late-game passive |
| 7 | Plum | $60,000 | $3,000 | 20 harvests | Expensive, slow breakeven |
| 8 | Tomato | $4,000 | $180 | 23 harvests | Worst value — skip this |
| 9 | Potato | $100,000 | $4,500 | 23 harvests | High income, very slow payback |
| 10 | Cherry | $1,000,000 | $24,000 | 42 harvests | Endgame — $64K/fruit at Gold |
| 11 | Pineapple | $15,000,000 | $150,000 | 100 harvests | Highest per-fruit, very slow breakeven |
Avoid
Tomato — it costs $4,000 but only gives $180/fruit at Lush, taking 23 harvests to break even.
Apple costs $3,000 more but gives 4.5× more per fruit and breaks even in 9 harvests. Best overall value is
Apple — cheap seed, fast breakeven, and $810/fruit scales well with mutations.
Best Crops by Budget
All values at Lush (3.0x), average weight, no mutations.
| Budget | Best Crop | Sell at Lush | Profit | ROI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Under $500 | Carrot ($20) | $90 | $70 | 350% |
| $500 – $5K | Beetroot ($2,500) | $6,000 | $3,500 | 140% |
| $5K+ | Wheat ($12,000) | $21,600 | $9,600 | 80% |
Cabbage is a trap — at 20% ROI, you'd make 7× more profit spending that $150K on
Beetroot instead.
Wheat at $12K is the best high-budget single-harvest plant. If you do get a Gold
Cabbage though, sell it at Lush for $480K ($330K profit).
When to Switch to Multi-Harvest
Multi-harvest plants cost more upfront but produce fruit forever. Breakeven at Lush, average weight:
| Plant | Seed Cost | Per Fruit (Lush) | Breakeven |
|---|---|---|---|
Corn | $100 | $45 | 3 harvests |
Apple | $7,000 | $810 | 9 harvests |
Rose | $10,000 | $960 | 11 harvests |
Banana | $30,000 | $2,250 | 14 harvests |
Potato | $100,000 | $4,500 | 23 harvests |
Cherry | $1,000,000 | $24,000 | 42 harvests |
Pineapple | $15,000,000 | $150,000 | 100 harvests |
After breakeven, every harvest is pure profit.
Pineapple has the highest per-fruit income at $150K but takes 100 harvests to pay off. Gold variants break even much faster and earn more per fruit.
Free Money: Seed Pack Plants
Seed pack plants cost nothing. Every sell is pure profit. Best picks at Lush (3.0x):
Lilystalk — $42,000 per fruit. Best free plant in the game.
Lumenbark — $36,000 per fruit.
Dawnblossom — $36,000 per fruit.
Olive — $30,000 per fruit. Close second.
Emberwood — $6,600 per fruit.
Orange — $5,400 per fruit.
Why Mutations Matter
Mutations multiply your variant total. They stack additively with each other, then the sum multiplies everything. Examples at Lush (3.0x):
Cherry + Starstruck (6.5x) — $156,000 per fruit, repeatable.
Cabbage + Starstruck (6.5x) — $1,170,000 per crop.
Dawnblossom + Starstruck (6.5x) — $234,000 per fruit, zero seed cost.
Admin mutations like Meteoric (10.0x), Salad (10.0x), and Banned (10.0x) are extremely rare and applied by admins. They stack with regular mutations for insane totals.
Mutation Combos
Some mutations are crafted by combining two weather mutations:
- Frostbit (3.5x) = Soaked + Snowy
- Mossy (3.5x) = Foggy + Chilled
- Muddy (5.0x) = Sandy + Flooded
Key Tips
- You don't need to wait for Lush — Ripened (2.0x) or even Unripe at 1.5x is often good enough. Waiting for Lush (3.0x) is optimal but not required — faster harvests can mean more money per hour.
- Never waste a Gold variant — Gold is rare, but when you get one, always wait for Lush. A Gold Lush
Beetroot sells for $16K (540% ROI) instead of $6K. - Ripeness does NOT advance offline — plants and fruits grow offline, but ripeness only progresses while you're in-game. You must be online for the Lush timer to tick.
- Weight is squared — a crop at 2× its average weight sells for 4× more from weight alone. Heavy crops are worth far more than they look.
- Mutations stack additively, ripeness multiplies — e.g. Starstruck (6.5x) + Mossy (3.5x) = 10.0x mutation total. Then Lush (3.0x) multiplies that: 3.0 × 10.0 = 30.0x final. Gold and Silver work the same as ripeness — they add to it, then the sum multiplies mutations.
- Weather speeds up ripening — weather-based mutations don't just boost sell price, they also speed up the ripeness progression.
- Buy every seed you can afford — even low-value seeds are useful for completing quests and unlocking entries in the Flora Book. If a seed is cheap relative to your cash, grab it.
- Bill's Shop restocks every 5 minutes — synced with weather changes. Buy single-harvest seeds every cycle and sell at Lush to snowball.
- Progression path —
Carrot flips →
Beetroot flips →
Wheat flips →
Cherry/
Potato multi-harvest → Lush Gold + mutations endgame.
