Zone 3 - Boreal Taiga
Gold Ore is a precious metal found at high altitudes in Zone 3's mountainous taiga regions. Unlike most ores, gold spawns primarily on cave floors rather than ceilings, and appears at Y-levels 170-350. The ore has a sparse distribution, making each discovery feel rewarding.
Tips:
- Head to the mountains of Zone 3 for the best gold deposits
- Gold spawns very high up - climb those peaks!
- Look down at cave floors rather than up at ceilings
- Gold is rare but valuable - mark your mining spots
