Iron Bars are created by smelting Iron Ore in any furnace. This fundamental crafting material is used in countless recipes, from basic tools to building components. A steady supply of iron bars is essential for any serious crafter.

Linen Scraps are torn from the cloth garments worn by hostile humanoids throughout Hytale. Goblins, Trorks, Skeletons, and various other intelligent enemies all wear and drop linen materials when defeated.

- Skeleton dungeons drop linen along with bone
- Most common fabric scrap type in the game
Light Leather is processed from Light Hides at a Tannery. This flexible material is used for basic armor, bags, and various crafted items. The tanning process transforms raw hide into workable leather.

- Used in countless recipes
Light Hide drops from the gentle creatures roaming Zone 1's peaceful meadows and farms. Cows, Sheep, Goats, Chickens, Pigs, Rabbits, and even Camels provide this basic crafting material. It's the most accessible hide type with 24 different creatures dropping it.
- Farm animals are the easiest and most reliable source
- Rabbits drop light hide but are faster and harder to catch
