How to check an MM2 trade

Put what you are giving on the offer side and what you are getting on the receive side. The checker totals both and shows the gap. Within roughly 10 percent is a fair trade; wider than that and one side is overpaying, which is only worth doing for an item you specifically need to complete a set.

MM2 pricing runs on supply. Chromas and weapons from retired crates climb as copies leave circulation, while event handouts and duped items sink no matter how good they look. That is why two items with similar values can behave completely differently in real trades: the demand score tells you which one actually moves.

Values refresh continuously from live market data, the same feed behind our value list and the per-item pages. If an offer hinges on one item you have never seen before, look it up first. Trades built around one mispriced item are the oldest trick in the lobby.

MM2 trade checker FAQ

How does the MM2 trade checker work?

Add the items each side is offering and the checker totals their current values. It flags the trade as a win, fair, or a loss based on the gap between the two sides.

Where do MM2 values come from?

Values track the live trading market and community pricing, refreshed continuously. Demand is scored separately, because a rare item with no buyers is worth less in practice than its number suggests.

Why are chromas worth so much more than regular godlies?

Supply. Chroma versions drop at a fraction of the rate of their base weapons, and retired crates stop producing new copies entirely, so every trade concentrates the remaining supply.

Is a trade fair if both sides have the same value?

On paper yes, but demand decides how it plays out. Equal value with unequal demand means one trader can flip their side quickly and the other waits. Check both columns before accepting.
