MONGIL: STAR DIVE Reroll Guide

3 characters worth rerolling for, and how to reroll

Rerolling Mongil: Star Dive takes 8 to 10 minutes and gets you 22 pulls: 20 on the New Expedition banner, which guarantees a permanent 5-star within those 20, and 2 on the limited banner. Aim for Gabi, or for Flare if you plan to pull for Mina later.

From the New Expedition banner

  • Gabi

    B5-star / Fighter

    Deals high damage to groups and single targets. Pair her with the free Francis for a strong early core.

  • Flare

    S5-star / Destroyer

    Works especially well with the limited Mina, so take her if you're saving for Mina.

  • Jiwon

    S5-star / Support

    A Wind support who pairs well with Esther, if Esther is the limited character you're after.

Not worth rerolling for

Don't reroll for limited characters: you only get 2 limited pulls per try, which makes it a long grind.

How to reroll

  1. Make an account for each try; every reset needs its own, on any platform.
  2. Pick the Path of Dawn difficulty, follow the tutorial, beat Forkmugger and carry on with the main quest.
  3. Pull the A New Friend for a New Journey banner when the game asks.
  4. Enter the active codes, claim your mail and pull the New Expedition banner with Compasses of Promise.
  5. In the shop, exchange for 2 Compasses of Destiny and use them on the limited banner.
  6. Stop at one S-tier character from the New Expedition pulls, ideally with a 4-star that suits them. Otherwise, start over on a new account.
