Grow cotton plants on farmland - Player farms, Zone 1

Cotton Bolts are harvested from mature cotton plants grown on farmland. This fluffy material is processed into fabric for clothing, armor padding, and various cloth items. Cotton is one of the primary textile crops in Hytale.

Dropped by large predators and beasts - Zone 3, Zone 4

Heavy Hide is obtained from the largest and most dangerous creatures. Grizzly Bears, Polar Bears, the massive Mosshorn, the fiery Emberwulf, and prehistoric Trillodons all drop this thick, durable material. Nine powerful creatures provide this high-tier resource.

Tips:

Bears are found in forests and mountains - approach with caution
Yetis roam the highest, coldest peaks of Zone 3
Cave raptors and rex in Zone 4 are extremely dangerous
Heavy Hide creates the sturdiest leather armor
