How to Get More Beavers in Timberborn

Beavers are the main focus of Timberborn, and the more of them you can get, the better off your city will be.

How often the beavers breed is very random in Timberborn. However, there are a few ways to increase the chances of beavers mating.

Here are some tips to make it happen for the Folktail faction. The Ironteeth faction is a little different and mainly relies on breeding pods. However, this faction isn’t unlocked straight away so if you’re new to the game you can’t play it anyway,

Give Them a Break

Everyone needs a break sometimes, and beavers are no different. You can reduce a beavers worktime by however many hours you wish. To improve their happiness without hindering production too much, it’s advised to reduce it by 1 or 2 hours at most.

Give Them a Home

Beavers need homes too, and if you don’t have any spare then the population can’t increase. Make sure there are enough homes by building new lodges.

It’s also best to have 2 beavers per home, with extra space. This seems like the sweet spot for beaver baby-making (and it makes sense).

Keep Them Happy

A happy beaver is a fertile beaver. Try to increase the well-being of the population by building a rooftop terrace or a campfire near their home.

The main aim is to satisfy their social life. You can check the status of that in the “well-being” tab.

Let Them Do Their Thing

As the chances of the beavers mating is random, sometimes you just get unlucky. That can be quite frustrating, but give it time, and it will happen.
