6 characters worth rerolling for, and how to reroll
Rerolling Umamusume is quick thanks to guest accounts: about 15 minutes to the gacha and roughly 7,000 Carats to spend. Reroll for SSR support cards, not trainees, since the game gives you two trainee selectors at the start.
Support cards to reroll for
Her SSR card Fire at My Heels is by far the best Speed card. At LB3 she triggers Friendship Training on Speed often, and one of her events can teach Professor of Curvature.
Her SSR card Piece of Mind is the best Stamina card and wins a lot of Medium and Long races.
Her SSR card Wave of Gratitude trains Wit while saving energy, and its skills pair well with Speed cards.
Trainees, if you have Carats left
Starlight Beat Oguri runs well on both surfaces, every distance except Short and with Pace or Late strategies, and makes a flexible parent for inheritance.
Formula R Maruzensky is another all-rounder, strong in most Turf races, though only with a Front strategy.
Wild Frontier Taiki Shuttle has an A in Dirt, so she covers the Dirt races an all-rounder won't.
Not worth rerolling for
Don't reroll an account you've already put time into: by then the progress is worth more than a better card.
How to reroll
- Play as a guest; don't link an account yet.
- Get through the tutorial, skipping what you can. The gacha opens after about 15 minutes.
- Collect the Carats from the Gift Box and Special Missions on the home screen, around 7,000 or more during events.
- Spend them on the support card banner with the card you want on rate-up.
- Not happy? On the title screen, open the menu in the corner and choose Delete User Data. You'll start again as a new guest.
- Happy with it? Link the account in Settings. You can't undo this.
