How growing up works
Every family runs through the same stages, but the levels stretch to fit the bug: the first two stages always start at the same level, and the rest are spread out so the last one lands on that bug's adult level. The stats calculator shows which stage you're in at any level.
Questions
When does my bug become an adult?
It depends on its tier: tier 1 at level 12, tier 2 at level 15, tier 3 at level 28, tier 4 at level 40, tier 5 at level 55, tier 6 at level 80, tier 7 at level 105. Robux bugs grow up at level 18, and the prehistoric bugs each have their own level.
What do young bugs miss out on?
Stats, mostly: a spider egg has 55% of the adult health and 45% of the bite damage, a spiderling 80% and 75%. Butterflies only fly as adults and flies from their young stage, and a fly's pupa can't move at all for its 4 seconds.
