How an island picks your fish

The water around each island carries the Power your rod needs before you can cast there. Each island has a weight for every fish it holds, and luck takes the most off the biggest weights, which is why the commonest fish fade out first. The note under each island says at what luck its commonest fish drops to the minimum weight. Try your own rod and bait in the catch calculator.

Which rod do I need for the last islands?

Mistpeak Isle, Mystic Reef Isle, Weather Isle, World Angler Isle need Power 100. No rod in the cash shop reaches it; the Power 100 rods are crafted or quest rewards.

Where do the secret bosses come from?

30 bosses sit outside the islands' own pools. 16 turn up in a weather on a named island (the note under each says which), 5 are summoned with mythical bait, and the other 9 have no condition in the game's text.
