Appearance

The Kendyll is a quadrupedal creature with an alligator-like appearance, being low to the ground. Its teeth sit outside of its mouth, its fangs being the largest sets of teeth. It has small eyes and a pair of spikes which jut from the corner of its jaw. In its jaw contains a black tongue. Rows of spikes can be found travelling down the Kendyll's neck, shoulder, back, and tail. Its tail is thick, having crocodilian scutes along the length of it. The creature walks on its knuckles, and its arms are shorter than its legs. Overall, the Kendyll resembles Triassic pseudosuchians like Postosuchus and Fasolasuchus.

Abilities

Grab
Grab is an active ability that allows the user to pick up a lower-tiered creature. Grabbed creatures cannot escape for 5 seconds. After that, the grabbed creature can struggle by pressing any button and will be released from the grab. The user can ungrab at any moment by pressing the same button used to grab. A creature darting from outside water will grab any creature it finds automatically.
Agile Swimmer
Agile Swimmer is a passive ability that causes the player to receive the following buffs when submerged underwater for more than a second: 100% more stamina regeneration 50% more total stamina 75% more walk speed 75% more sprint speed A % increase in oxygen (oxygen increase percentage is based off the amount of oxygen the creature originally has) Additionally, a glider semi-aquatic (and an aqua-glider) can abuse the extra stamina to increase the number of glide flaps it can perform from the water boosted. Until they touch the ground or stop gliding, the boosted stamina amount will remain.
Berserk
Berserk is a passive ability that activates at below 20% health. It increases stamina regeneration by 100% and decreases bite cooldown by 50%.
Block Bleed (0.55)
Bleed Block/Block Bleed is a percentage based passive ability that grants the user resistance to getting bleed status from melee attacks at minimum. If an attacker deals 5 bleed per hit and the receiver has 60% Block Bleed, then the receiver gets only 2 of that 5 bleed. This ability is gained gradually as the creature ages. If a creature's Block Bleed is 100%, then they are immune to Bleed inflicted by melee direct attacks once fully grown. If a creature's Block Bleed is negative, it may indicate an extra vulnerability to the status effect.
Charge (Crush)
Charge is a passive ability that gradually fills an orange "Charge" bar (unique to creatures with this ability) while running. Once completely full, clicking (Lmb on PC or on Mobile or RT on Xbox) will apply special effects on a creature the user is hitting. If the bar is not full, charge effects may be reduced or non-existent. Current Charge types:
Injury Attack (3.5)
Injury Attack is an ability that offensively deals injury status when biting. A negative value means that it heals an amount of such status upon biting.

Behavior

  • The Kendyll has a rivalry with the Lus-Adarch, to the point of being its arch-nemesis, for unknown reasons.

Trivia

  • Designed by windy2457 and TsuyuNamii (windy2457#3429 and TsuyuNamii#7632). The old Kendyll was based on big carnivorous pseudosuchians, the immediate predecessor of crocodilians.
  • Initial redesign concept by mawfull (maw ♡#5820). The Kendyll redesign, aside from the original Kendyll redesign, is inspired/based off of the Spinosaurus and Kaprosuchus, as well as Tyrant's abandoned Kendyll redesign which Tyrant allowed them to take inspiration from.
  • First design and initial redesign modeled by Erythia. Kendyll was the third finished and released remodel/redesign.
  • Second redesign concept by Dragoonalithe.
  • Second redesign modeled by ThunderBoo666.
  • Second redesign animated by Minisode1_BlueHour (Aphauxin).
  • Kendyll was the first Tier 5 carnivore.
  • Players could select the colors from the claws on the old model (on the remodel it's the eyes) to paint your creature with colors outside its normal palette (in the old model blue, for the remodel yellow). However, they'll only display in the main and paint menu.
  • The first letter in Kendyll's in-game description used to be missing, "The" turning into "he".
  • The Kendyll's species icon was formerly a photo of the old model, but it was changed to the current model on February 25th, 2022.
  • The Kendyll is commonly called "Ken" by players due to Roblox's in-game chat filters.
  • It's the first creature in the game to receive 2 full model redesigns.
