Eternity

Reverse 1999 Tier List Rank: S

  • Rarity: 6-Star
  • Afflatus: Mineral
  • Damage Type: Reality
  • Role(s): Damage Dealer

Eternity excels at dealing both widespread AOE damage and focused single-target damage. Her signature abilities, Blood of Longevity and Immortality, provide exceptionally strong healing that makes Eternity nearly unkillable. She is immune to debilitating statuses like Poison, Corrosion, and Bleed. At Insight level 3, Eternity also becomes immune to decreases in her Attack, Defense, and other attributes. Though she is able to defeat most enemies in the early and middle stages of Reverse 1999 by herself, battles will be drawn out without teammates.

Eternity performs best when paired with allies who generate ample energy particles like Pickles and An-an Lee. With her versatile fighting skills and unrelenting survivability, Eternity is a top-tier character capable of tackling the game’s toughest challenges.

Bkornblume

Reverse 1999 Tier List Rank: S

  • Rarity: 5-Star
  • Afflatus: Plant
  • Damage Type: Reality
  • Role(s): Damage Dealer, Debuff, Burst, Control

Bkornblume specializes in decreasing enemy defenses and controlling crowds as a superb support character in Reverse 1999. With her skills and ultimate, she can lower Reality defense and increase damage taken across multiple opponents. Bkornblume can also target individuals with the Seal status to prevent ability usage or reduce moxie.

She is regarded as the best support for Reality damage, providing teammates like Sotheby, Eternity, and Centurion with the opportunity to unleash devastating attacks. At higher Insight levels, Bkornblume herself gains damage and defense bonuses when attacking debuffed enemies. Despite being a support character, her Skill 1 and Ultimate deliver unexpected amounts of area of effect and single target damage, respectively.

With her powerful debilitating abilities that set up allies for success, Bkornblume is an invaluable teammate capable of crippling groups of enemies and tilting the tide of battle.

An-an Lee

Reverse 1999 Tier List Rank: S

  • Rarity: 5-Star
  • Afflatus: Plant
  • Damage Type: Reality
  • Role(s): Support, Control, Buffer, Daze

An-an Lee is a dynamic character who alternates between Tank and Damage stances each round. Upon entering her Damage stance and after using her Ultimate ability, An-an Lee boosts her own rightmost card by 1 star rating. This allows her to deal impressive damage using minimal AP due to the frequent availability of her high damage, high star Skill 1. An-an Lee can also support her allies by granting increased damage dealt and decreased damage taken with her Skill 2, similar to Sonetto’s buff.

She has great synergy with teammates that consume a lot of AP like Sotheby and Necrologist since An-an Lee enables them to act more frequently. With her alternating stances, damage support, and AP-saving playstyle, An-an Lee adapts to the flow of battle and empowers her allies to overcome any threat.

Centurion

Reverse 1999 Tier List Rank: S

  • Rarity: 5-Star
  • Afflatus: Beast
  • Damage Type: Reality
  • Role(s): Damage Dealer, Sustain, Burst

Centurion is an extremely versatile damage dealer capable of both widespread AOE and focused single target attacks. Her damage scales with her Moxie stat, allowing Centurion to forego using her Ultimate in favor of maximizing single-target damage. She also has strong self-sustain through healing effects at Insight 3 and the Weakness debuff. Centurion can opt to spam her Ultimate instead of single target attacks to stay healthy. Her damage potential has a very high ceiling due to Insights and Portray level 5 upgrades. Centurion consistently provides high damage and utility whether early, mid, or late game.

Her well-rounded kit makes her an amazing carry character to choose from our Reverse 1999 tier list for new players. With the ability to tailor her playstyle and become an unstoppable force, Centurion is a top-tier DPS that excels at dispatching any number of enemies.

Sonetto

Reverse 1999 Tier List Rank: S

  • Rarity: 5-Star
  • Afflatus: Mineral
  • Damage Type: Reality
  • Role(s): Support, Control, Buffer, Disarm

Sonetto is a flexible support character capable of empowering her team through consistent buffs. With her Skill 2, she can increase damage dealt and decrease damage taken for all allies, while also granting herself extra Penetration Rate. Sonetto can debilitate threatening enemies by applying Disarm with her Skill 1, preventing them from using their basic attacks. Taking advantage of her own buffs, Sonetto’s Ultimate ability hits tremendously hard even in the late stages of the game. As a free character, Sonetto can fit into many different team compositions and provide strong offensive and defensive boosts.

With the ability to amplify her allies’ strengths while negating enemies’ attacks, Sonetto is an invaluable support who can turn the tide of battle.

Voyager

Reverse 1999 Tier List Rank: S

  • Rarity: 6-Star
  • Afflatus: Star
  • Damage Type: Mental
  • Role(s): Support, Debuff, Counter

Voyager excels at controlling the flow of battle through powerful debuffing abilities. She can decrease enemy Critical Resistance, apply Silence to prevent skill usage, and Seal opponents from using their Ultimates. With her Skill 2, Voyager bolsters her team’s survivability by reducing damage taken and reflecting a portion of damage back at enemies. When certain conditions are met, Voyager’s own Ultimate deals high damage.

Through her kit and passives, she also makes it extremely difficult for opponents to utilize their Ultimate moves. Voyager has great synergy with critical-focused and frail allies, keeping the enemy debilitated. With tremendous disruption potential and protective abilities, Voyager dictates the pace of combat and enables her team to overcome unfavorable odds.

Medicine Pocket

Reverse 1999 Tier List Rank: S

  • Rarity: 6-Star
  • Afflatus: Beast
  • Damage Type: Mental
  • Role(s): Control, Debuff, Healer, Damage Dealer

Medicine Pocket is the premier healer in Reverse 1999, excelling at keeping teams alive when tackling difficult stages. Her Skill 2 provides consistent area of effect healing to allies while granting them Sturdiness for additional damage reduction. Medicine Pocket’s Ultimate ability inflicts single target Daze to disable enemies, and refunds 1 Moxie after use. She has great synergy with fragile teammates like Lilya and Melania, keeping them healthy amidst heavy damage.

With reliable healing and bolstering effects spread across her kit, Medicine Pocket ensures her team can endure and overcome the game’s most punishing challenges. Her ability to sustain allies makes her a staple member when progressing through the late game and taking on competitive modes.

Dikke

Reverse 1999 Tier List Rank: S

  • Rarity: 5-Star
  • Afflatus: Beast
  • Damage Type: Mental
  • Role(s): Healer Control, Debuff, Damage Dealer

Dikke is a versatile healer whose healing strength dramatically increases when allies are below 50% health, allowing for powerful burst healing when the condition is met. Her Ultimate cleanses Dikke of decreases to her stats, negative statuses, and control effects, while also granting one round of Immunity to make her highly self-reliant.

When properly invested in, Dikke can output decent single-target damage as well. Her flexible skill set enables her to fit into almost any team composition. Dikke’s amplified healing and cleansing Ultimate let her quickly recover endangered allies, while her ability to contribute offensively gives her multi-faceted value. With the tools to sustain herself and keep her team alive, Dikke is an adaptable character who excels at providing clutch healing the moment it is needed most.

Lilya

Reverse 1999 Tier List Rank: S

  • Rarity: 6-Star
  • Afflatus: Star
  • Damage Type: Reality
  • Role(s): Damage Dealer, Carry

*Requires Insight 2+

Of all characters on the Reverse 1999 tier list, Lilya is capable of the highest single-target damage. However, there’s one caveat – she requires stacking Critical Rate as much as possible to be as close to 100% as possible.

Once invested in, her potential damage surpasses most other carries. She requires at least Insight 2 before her performance becomes competitive.

She synergizes best with teammates who increase Critical Rate, like Voyager and Tooth Fairy. While demanding heavy investment, a fully-built Lilya deals unmatched single-target crit damage. When supported by crit-boosting allies, her massive damage potential allows Lilya to assassinate even the most durable enemies.

Regulus

Reverse 1999 Tier List Rank: S

  • Rarity: 6-Star
  • Afflatus: Star
  • Damage Type: Mental
  • Role(s): Damage Dealer, Crit, Support

*Early game performance is poor

Regulus possesses a phenomenal defensive Ultimate that applies Riot and Roll to all allies, causing them to dodge all non-Ultimate attacks for 1 turn. To activate her Restless Heart passive and gai increased Critical Rate, Regulus only has to take action every other round. While deceptively powerful, her specialized effects don’t see much use early game.

Regulus has great synergy with critical-focused teammates like Lilya, Voyager, and Tooth Fairy, who benefit from her dodging Ultimate and self-activated Crit Rate buff. Though subtle, Regulus’ abilities enable teams to withstand devastating enemy assaults and increase their damage potential. Once late game is reached, Regulus shines as a cornerstone ally that bolsters team survivability and potency.

A Knight

Reverse 1999 Tier List Rank: S

  • Rarity: 6-Star
  • Afflatus: Spirit
  • Damage Type: Reality
  • Role(s): Damage Dealer, AoE

A Knight is an extremely greedy damage-focused carry that gains Rousing Morale, a powerful damage buff, whenever he scores an Ultimate kill. He can spam his Ultimate frequently thanks to Skills that grant bonus Moxie. A Knight excels in stages with multiple enemies or waves, allowing him to stack Rousing Morale by chaining Ultimate kills. He has strong synergy with allies that augment damage dealt such as An-an Lee, Sonetto, and Pickles to further empower his buff.

Once Rousing Morale is stacked high, A Knight becomes an unstoppable force capable of demolishing enemies. However, he is heavily reliant on Ultimate kills to enable this, requiring teammates who can enable his high-maintenance playstyle. When the conditions are right, A Knight can hard carry teams to victory against overwhelming odds.

Charlie

Reverse 1999 Tier List Rank: S

  • Rarity: 5-Star
  • Afflatus: Star
  • Damage Type: Mental
  • Role(s): Damage Dealer, Dispeller

*Requires Portray 3+

Charlie is capable of tremendously high and consistent single-target damage that is relatively easy to optimize due to lenient requirements for damage bonuses. Her Ultimate becomes an AOE nuke at higher Portray levels. Among 5-star characters, Charlie uniquely deals even more damage than Lilya. Her Insight 3 passive activates as a buff, and will replace weaker buffs of the same type. Therefore, Charlie synergizes best with support allies that provide buffs other than increased damage, like Baby Blue and Diggers.

With her simple but hard-hitting skillset, Charlie rivals top-rarity damage dealers. She can unleash devastating attacks on priority targets or decimate entire enemy groups once her Ultimate is upgraded. Charlie’s exceptional damage output enables her to serve as a primary carry.
