Appearance

The Cuxena is a slim, bipedal, dragon-like flier that wields a scythe. Its face is somewhat oval-like, and it has 3 eyes. Cuxena has spiraling horns with what resembles gold clasps on them. It is adorned with bone-like decorations and the aforementioned gold clasp. Cuxena has tattered wings, and its tail fin also appears to be tattered. It is one of the only creatures to wield a weapon (specifically a scythe), and is able to do so due to its long and posable fingers.

Abilities

Invisibility
Invisibility is an active ability that makes the user invisible to other players when toggled. Invisibility allows the user to walk and swim cloaked as long as they don't bite, use any active ability, sprint, ambush, or jump/fly/glide. While active it does not hide the creature from being spotted by scent. Additionally, invisibility has a 30 second cooldown after being activated; however, deactivating the ability does not modify the cooldown.
Bleed Attack (10)
Bleed Attack is a passive ability, where the user inflicts a specific amount of bleed status on a creature with every bite, excluding with breath/ranged abilities or reflecting abilities. A negative value means that it heals an amount of such status upon biting.
Block Bleed (0.6)
Bleed Block/Block Bleed is a percentage based passive ability that grants the user resistance to getting bleed status from melee attacks at minimum. If an attacker deals 5 bleed per hit and the receiver has 60% Block Bleed, then the receiver gets only 2 of that 5 bleed. This ability is gained gradually as the creature ages. If a creature's Block Bleed is 100%, then they are immune to Bleed inflicted by melee direct attacks once fully grown. If a creature's Block Bleed is negative, it may indicate an extra vulnerability to the status effect.
Iron Stomach
Iron Stomach is a passive ability that allows the user to eat rotten meat without getting negative ailments from it--preventing them from getting the Sickly Status.

  • Concept by heyitsXhosa in the Creatures of Sonaria Discord.
  • It is the first creature released on recode to wield an item (but not even the third in total, since several creatures already wielded items beforehand, such as Ani, Angelic Warden or Empiterium).
  • The word 'scythe' has been misspelled on its concept art as the word 'sythe'.
  • Like with Empiterium, Cuxena doesn't attack with its weapon as it could cause hitbox issues.
