About packs

You steal a pack from a domain, run it back to your plot past the domain's boss, and it grows until it opens. A unit's own pack sets aside a share for that unit, which lifts rare units a lot and common ones not at all. Pick any pack and luck in the pack odds calculator to see every unit it can give.

Questions

How do packs spawn?

Each domain keeps up to 5 packs on the ground and picks each new one by its spawn chance. The rarest spawn is Anti-Spyral's Pack in Omniversal Zone, 0.04% of spawns (1 in 2,500).

How long do packs take to grow?

It depends on the pack's rarity, from 10s for Common up to 10h for Shibuya Pack. At night (15 seconds every 5m) packs grow x20 faster, and the x2 Growth pass doubles growth all the time.

Does a pack always give the unit on it?

No. Opening a pack rolls every unit of its domain; the unit on the card is only more likely. The chance shown for each pack here is that unit's own chance; the pack odds calculator lists everything a pack can give.

Can I merge packs?

Yes: the Merge Machine takes two of the same pack and makes one heavier pack, which hatches a heavier unit. Path Packs can't be merged.
