How the weather works
A game day is 12 minutes of daylight (morning, noon and evening, four minutes each) and 90 seconds of night. About one day in four has a shower of 5 to 8 minutes, planned from the day's number, so every server gets the same rain and this page can list it ahead of time. The in-game forecast is built from the same plan but flips each period's answer one time in five.

Questions
Is the weather forecast in Durian Garden accurate?
Not always. For each of the four parts of the day the game shows the real answer 80% of the time and the opposite the rest of the time. The rain times on this page are the real schedule, and the forecast boxes mark the periods where the game is wrong today.
How often does it rain?
On about 25% of game days. A shower starts between 30 seconds and 12.5 minutes into the day and lasts 5 to 8 minutes, so it can run on into the next day.
What does rain do?
Rain spoils the latex sitting in tapped rubber cups, so empty them before a shower.
When is the Purge?
Every night: the last 90 seconds of each 13.5-minute game day. Durians in your Barn are safe from it.
