How the odds are worked out
Each trait has a roll weight in the game's config, and the rare ones also have a cap on their chance. The game turns those into percentages with its own allocation step, which rounds the common traits to the nearest 0.05% and takes the rounding out of the Legendary and Godly ones. The chances above are that step run on the current traits, so they add up to 100%.
A roll is independent of the last one, so the odds of a hit within N rolls only depend on the chance per roll. Traits stack on top of a unit's own stats; see what they do to DPS in the damage calculator.
