Appearance
Xymorax is a large, alien creature with a sleek body. It has a long, needle-like head that extends forward into a sharp point. Three sets of eyes can be seen on each side of this head. Having no visual neck, its round body is fused with its head, with thin appendages of various sizes running along its back, underbelly, back of its legs, and the end of its tentacles. These eight, long tentacle-like appendages can be seen extending from its body near its eyes with webbing growing between them. The creature is able to put two of each of the eight tentacles together, making it appear as if it had only four tentacle-like appendages. A second set of smaller tentacle "wings" grow from above its abdomen. Xymorax has long, oddly shaped legs with thin claws with three digits each. A small, thin tail extends from the end of its body.

Abilities
Behavior
- Their nature is incredibly invasive, as they adapt rapidly to any ecosystem, decimating local fauna to sustain themselves. Using their long, sharp tongue-like proboscis, the Xymorax drink the blood of other creatures to survive, feeding on the vital fluids to fuel their relentless spread. This parasitic feeding behavior is central to their survival, allowing them to grow and reproduce while draining the life force of every creature they come across.
- Although these creatures are quite swift and agile within the confines of space, Xymorax seem to be quite troubled by the gravity of Sonaria's atmosphere, making them slower and less mobile than normal.
- Sonaria's vast collection of species adds additional difficulty to their survival. Any time a Xymorax feeds on smaller creatures than itself, it will strangle its prey using its tentacle like appendages. However, if the prey item is larger, they will simply attach themselves on the creature securing themselves with not only their tentacles but clawed feet as well.
Lore (non-canon)
- Xymorax have a unique method of reproduction—one that hinges on their insatiable bloodlust, allowing the invader to reproduce something akin to asexual means through the blood they consume. Absorbing the genetic material of their victims, Xymorax use the genetic make-up to create new offspring. This form of reproduction allows them to rapidly multiply, ensuring that their numbers skyrocket as they continue to feed. The process is efficient and brutal, with the creature's victims providing not only sustenance but also the means to spawn the next generation of Xymorax. The most unsettling aspect of this reproduction is that the new spawn may show genetic differences depending on the blood that the parent drinks. The genetic material of their victims blends with that of the Xymorax, creating offspring that may inherit different traits such as longer tails, tentacles, spines, and etc.
- Xymorax produce small spherical eggs which are typically laid within meteors drifting across space. The eggs themselves are laid through regurgitation, where the expecting Xymorax drills a hole in a rocky surface placing a single egg inside using its mouth.
