Appearance

With button eyes, a big mane, and two long, striped horns that have sickle-shaped tips, the Fleuralis is a plush chimera (without any goat components). They have three dull spikes in a row running down their back and two tiny flightless wings. Fleuralis also have a lengthy tail with two additional spikes before the tip and a little, snake-like "head" on the end. The snake head also has a lengthy set of teeth and a big horn on its nose. Additionally, Fleuralis has a small circular bell against its throat that appears to be fastened by a ribbon around its lower jaw.

Abilities

Drowsy Area
Drowsy Area is an active ability that gives those within its area of effect the drowsy status, slowing their bite speed and severely slowing them down in movement and turn speed. Has a 60 second cooldown.
Egg Stealer
Egg Stealer is an active ability that allows creatures to steal eggs from the nests of other players. If a creature has this ability, eggs are also highlighted with an egg icon when scenting.
Grab
Grab is an active ability that allows the user to pick up a lower-tiered creature. Grabbed creatures cannot escape for 5 seconds. After that, the grabbed creature can struggle by pressing any button and will be released from the grab. The user can ungrab at any moment by pressing the same button used to grab. A creature darting from outside water will grab any creature it finds automatically.
Spite (-3.00)
Spite is an active ability that increases a user's next attack damage based on its power meter, which gradually fills once the ability is triggered and then drains to 0 if no creature is attacked by the user during this time. It also has a customizable percentage (%) of the creature's damage (the % listed is the max of said creature's Spite power). Alongside raw damage, the user inflicts double ailments on their targets. The ability has a 20-second cooldown that starts upon activation.
Bleed Attack (-1)
Bleed Attack is a passive ability, where the user inflicts a specific amount of bleed status on a creature with every bite, excluding with breath/ranged abilities or reflecting abilities. A negative value means that it heals an amount of such status upon biting.
Block Bleed (1.00)
Bleed Block/Block Bleed is a percentage based passive ability that grants the user resistance to getting bleed status from melee attacks at minimum. If an attacker deals 5 bleed per hit and the receiver has 60% Block Bleed, then the receiver gets only 2 of that 5 bleed. This ability is gained gradually as the creature ages. If a creature's Block Bleed is 100%, then they are immune to Bleed inflicted by melee direct attacks once fully grown. If a creature's Block Bleed is negative, it may indicate an extra vulnerability to the status effect.
Charge (Launch)
Charge is a passive ability that gradually fills an orange "Charge" bar (unique to creatures with this ability) while running. Once completely full, clicking (Lmb on PC or on Mobile or RT on Xbox) will apply special effects on a creature the user is hitting. If the bar is not full, charge effects may be reduced or non-existent. Current Charge types:
Defensive Poison (2)
Defensive Poison/Melee Toxin is a passive ability that makes the user deal Poison Status to an attacker upon being attacked. Stacks with itself.
Frostbite Attack (-2)
Frostbite Attack is an ability that offensively deals frostbite when biting. A negative value means that it heals an amount of such status upon biting.
Pack Healer
Pack Healer is a pack-oriented passive ability. This passive ability allows the user to boost the HP regen of their fellow packmates.
Soft Landing (0.6)
Soft Landing is a passive ability that allows the user to fall more slowly, depending on each creature's specific stat number. It works when walking off cliffs/falling, detaching, darting, or jumping. It is cancellable by pressing (Space on PC or or B on Xbox).
Unbreakable
Unbreakable is a passive ability that allows the user to be immune to Bleed and Injury.

Behavior

  • Fleuralis are basically mimic-carnivores, but are omnivorous in reality. The only thing that portrays this is their voice, which is goat-like.
  • They'll eat just about anything they can get their paws on, including maybe things that they should or shouldn't eat, though it could actually be to aid digestion.

Trivia

  • Concept by torviin and TyrantDinosaur889. Based on vintage teddy bears with rotatable arms and legs, alongside manticores/chimeras since the tail was originally drawn as a scorpion tail, but was changed to be a snake since torviin mixed them up. "Generally wanted the colors to be very friendly but they ended up literally rainbow." - torviin The original design Tyrant sketched actually had stuffing popping out of it like a very worn-down stuffed animal. Its name may be inspired by the "Fleur-de-Lis", a lily symbol used by several European nations during the Modern age, which often came with lionesque, chimeric creatures in their traditional banners and representing royalty. It is yet unknown if this is a mere accidental coincidence.
  • Modeled by JaxonBirb.
  • Rigged by Hurricane_Lordus.
  • In Legacy, Fleuralis is the second creature to receive gray blood, after Athulyth. Due to this, when killed, the Fleuralis drops a grey carcass in Legacy. White/Transparent blood exists in real-life animals, an example being a fish that lives in Antarctica, the Crocodile Icefish, but it's usually only in some vertebrates when they lack any oxygen carrier (hemoglobin) because oxygen is very plentiful, and some insects. However, in this case it's more likely to be a reference to its doll/plushie origin, with the white being akin to the white stuffing several plushies have.
  • In Recode, its blood is red.
  • "Has been jokingly called 'gay lion' during production because I accidentally made it rainbow." - torviin
  • Called "Fleur" or "Lion" in-game because of Roblox's in-game chat filter.
