What is a Shiny Pet in Pet Simulator X?
Shiny pets are… well, shiny! They will have a white glow visual effect on them. On top of that, shiny pets will be 250% stronger than the non-shiny versions of the same pet.
This effectively means that shiny pets will become the best pets to obtain in Pet Simulator X.
Huge pets can also be shiny. However, the difference will only be the visual effect.
How to get Shiny pets in Pet Simulator X?
Shiny pets can be hatched from every egg in the game, with a 1 in 600 chance of obtaining one. Every rarity of pets (Normal, Golden, Rainbow, Dark Matter) can be shiny.
Merch DLC pets from redeemable codes can also be shinies.
What is the chance of obtaining Shiny pets?
- Base – 0.17% (1 in 600)
- Shiny Relic unlocked – 0.20% (1 in 500)
- Shiny Hunter – unknown
How to get increase the chance of getting Shiny pets?
There are two ways to increase the chances of obtaining a shiny pet in Pet Simulator X.
The first one is to unlock the Fantasy World in Hardcore mode. Once that’s done, head to the locked door on the left side of the fantasy portals. Inside there will be a Shiny Relic. Clicking the relic will ask you to sacrifice 250m diamonds. This will increase the chances of obtaining a shiny pet to 0.20% instead of 0.17%.
The second way is to obtain the Shiny Hunter game pass, which costs 1299 Roblox.
Can you upgrade Shiny Pets?
Yes. The same rules apply to upgrading normal pets. You will need multiple shiny copies of the same pet.
