How Gear Works in Garden Horizons
Gear items are tools and upgrades that help you grow, water, and manage your plants more efficiently. From the basic Watering Can to the Legendary Super Sprinkler, the right gear can dramatically speed up your farming and boost your profits.
Where to Buy Gear
All gear is sold at Molly's Gear Shop, located at the center of the map. Her inventory is limited and restocks every 5 minutes alongside Bill's Seeds Shop. Higher-rarity items may not always be in stock, so check back each cycle.

Gear Details
Watering Can
The Watering Can speeds up growth for both plants and fruit. Place water on the ground up to 3 times for maximum effect (not 5 like in Grow a Garden). Blue circles appear on the ground where you watered — the boost is active for as long as those circles are visible. Once they disappear, you can water again.
Sprinklers
Sprinklers are placed in your garden and provide a passive boost to crop growth speed AND fruit size for all plants within their range. The three tiers — Basic, Turbo, and Super — differ in range and strength.
The Super Sprinkler (Legendary, $100,000) covers the widest area and produces a dramatic difference. Plants in its radius grow significantly faster and produce visibly larger fruits. Sprinklers will also work in other players' plots — the developers are adding this feature.
Harvest Bell
The Harvest Bell works like the harvesting radar from Grow a Garden. It harvests all ripe fruit in an area around you with a single use, saving time when your garden is full.
Favorite Tool
The Favorite Tool prevents you from accidentally harvesting a high-value plant. Tap any plant while holding it to place a gold star on it — that plant cannot be looted until you unfavorite it.
The gold star is only visible while you are holding a Favorite Tool. For this reason, they are sold in packs of 2 — use one to favorite plants, keep the other to check which plants are already protected. Use the second tool to unfavorite a plant when you're ready to harvest it.
Shovel
The Shovel destroys and removes plants from your garden. Use it to clear out unwanted crops and make room for new seeds. It has a short animation and requires you to confirm the action.
Gear Recommendations
- Start with the Watering Can — At $5,000, it's affordable early on and makes a noticeable difference in growth speed.
- Save for a sprinkler — Even the Basic Sprinkler automates growth boosting. Upgrade to Super Sprinkler when you can afford it.
- Get the Harvest Bell — Saves a huge amount of time when your garden is full of ripe fruit.
- Buy the Favorite Tool for endgame plants — Once you have Lush + multi-mutation plants worth hundreds of thousands, the Favorite Tool prevents costly misclicks.
