Damage Calculator

What the numbers include
Stats come from the game's tower table, stage by stage, with traits, the shiny bonus and the size bonus applied the way the game does it: damage multipliers stack on damage, the trait's cooldown and range changes apply on top, and farms and boosters get their cash and boost raised instead. These match the game's own stat helper on every animal, stage, trait and size we checked.
Area attackers hit every zombie in their cone, line or splash, and DPS is per zombie, so they clear a crowded wave faster than the number suggests. For a full lineup against a wave, try the team builder; to read size off an animal's weight, use the weight calculator.
Questions
How is DPS worked out?
Damage a hit times hits and targets, divided by the cooldown, with the special attack averaged in at its real rate (every 5th attack, every 3rd) and burns, bleeds and damage over time added on. It's the game's own DPS function from its tower stats module.
How much does a shiny or a big animal add?
A shiny does 10% more damage. Size adds up to 20% more, scaling from nothing at 1x to the full bonus at 2x, and both stack with the trait. A plain max-stage Chupacabra does 3,300 DPS; a 2x shiny one with Apex does 8,580.
Which traits can my animal get?
It depends on what it does. Attackers roll from the attack traits (Strong, Swift, Sharp, Titan, Overclock, Apex), farms from the farm traits (Wealthy, Jackpot, Midas) and the booster from the booster traits (Inspire, Rally, Monarch). The calculator only lists the ones your animal can roll.
