Green clears inside the 45-second wave timer. Area attackers count once per zombie, so a team built on them does better than this on crowded waves. Full numbers per animal are in the damage calculator.

How it works

Each animal's DPS is the game's own figure for that stage, with the shiny bonus if you tick it, times how many you place. Wave health is the game's wave function for the mode you pick. Dividing one by the other gives a rough clear time per wave; it leaves out walking time, range and stuns from the bosses, so treat a wave right at the limit as a coin flip.

Wave lineups are on the modes page, and the strongest animals per role are on the tier list.

Questions

How many troops can you bring in Egg Tower Defense?

You pick 3 animals to start, 4 at farm level 5 and 5 at farm level 10 (or with the troop slot passes). In a match you can place up to 15 troops in total, and no more than 5 of them can be farms.

How does the team builder decide when a team falls behind?

It adds up every zombie's health in a wave and divides by your team's DPS. If that takes longer than the 45-second wave timer in the match settings, the next wave arrives before this one is dead, and that's the wave it marks.

Why does my area team do better in game than here?

DPS here counts each attack once, on one zombie. Cones, lines and splash hit every zombie in the area, so on a crowded wave they deal several times their listed DPS. Treat the result as the worst case for an area-heavy team.
