Honkai Star Rail Serval Story Introduction
The older sister of the Landau Siblings, Serval was once a close friend of Cocolia, the current Supreme Guardian of Belobog with the passion to do research on the Stellaron. She now works as a mechanic that also runs a rock ‘n’ roll performance workshop as part of her hobby in Belobog. One can only wonder how much money Serval actually has because her occupation in the workshop is only for hobby’s sake only.

Best Honkai Star Rail Serval Build
Since Serval is an Erudition Path character, she fits the role of your AoE Sub DPS character. Her mechanic revolves around shocking the enemies and leaving Lightning DoT that scales from her ATK. Her Ultimate will also extend the shock state and deal Lightning attack to all enemies based on her ATK.
For Serval’s Relics and Planar Ornament build, since her kit scales on her ATK, we highly suggest you to invest a lot in ATK. Since Serval is also a lightning character, the Lightning Relics Band of Sizzling Thunder actually fits her really well since the 4 set will buff her Lightning DMG and it will also buff her ATK after she cast her skill. For the Planar Ornament, you can go with increasing her ATK by using Space Sealing Station for higher Lightning DoT damage, or you can also go with CRIT Rate Planar Ornament if you prefer to invest in Serval’s high Ultimate damage.
As for Serval’s Light Cone build, you can focus on the Erudition Path Light Cone, since we can’t activate the effect from the other Light Cone’s Path. Some of the Erudition Path Light Cone will focus on the follow-up dmg buff, which Serval don’t have, so you can ignore those Light Cone and focus on the one that will increase Serval’s Ultimate damage or overall damage. Upon triggering a follow-up attack, Somnus Corpus will be consumed and the follow-up attack DMG increases by 48/60/72/84/96%.
Serval’s Best in Slot Light Cone.
Serval’s Ultimate packs a punch and this Light Cone will buff Serval’s CRIT DMG, Skill damage and Ultimate DMG even further.
Despite we can’t take advantage of the follow-up attack DMG, the buff that this Light Cone gives is already enough for Serval.

Serval can apply Shock without having to break the enemy’s weakness break first, and since it scales on Serval’s ATK, this Light Cone can also increase the shock damage.

Serval’s biggest damage outcome comes from her Ultimate, so this Light Cone, which is also Serval’s signature Light Cone will help her dish out big damage from her Ultimate.

As a lightning Sub DPS character that scales on her ATK, we highly recommend you to go with Lightning Relics or ATK Relics, which the former has a better damage outcome. If you don’t have 4 set Lightning Relics yet, you can also go with 2 set Lightning 2 set ATK Relics.

2 Set: Increases Lightning DMG by 10%.
4 Set: When the wearer uses Skill, increases the wearer’s ATK by 25% for 1 turn(s).

4 Set: The wearer’s SPD increases by 6% and Basic ATK DMG increases by 10%.

Honkai Star Rail Serval Best Planar Ornaments
Serval’s Planar Ornament has a lot of options that you can use. You can go with increasing her CRIT Rate first, or you can also go with increasing her ATK. Despite it’s not really mandatory, you can also go with Energy Regeneration Rate too, but we don’t really suggest you to use Energy Regeneration.
All in all, Serval’s Ultimate damage will be more superior than her shock damage, so we would recommend you to increase her CRIT Rate over her ATK first. But if you want to focus on her shock kit, you should also increase her Effect Hit Rate since the enemy also have their own RES that will potentially prevent you from applying the shock effect to the enemy.
Pan-Galactic Commercial Enterprise
2 Set: Increases the wearer’s Effect Hit Rate by 10%.
Meanwhile, the wearer’s ATK increases by an amount that is equal to 25% of Effect Hit Rate, up to a maximum of 25%.
Celestial Differentiator
2 Set: Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 8%.
When the wearer’s current CRIT Rate reaches 80% or higher, the wearer’s Basic ATK and Skill DMG increase by 20%.
Space Sealing Station
2 Set: Increases the wearer’s ATK by 12%.
When the wearer’s SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer’s ATK increases by another 12%.
Inert Salsotto
2 Set: Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 8%.
When the wearer’s current CRIT Rate reaches 50% or higher, the wearer’s Ultimate and follow-up attack DMG increases by 15%.
