Honkai Star Rail Yanqing Story Introduction
Another new character has been introduced in the Honkai Star Rail Final Closed Beta. Yanqing is a five-star Ice character that belongs to The Hunt path. Affiliated in the Xianzhou Luofu as the lieutenant and the most proficient swordsman, Yanqing will surf across his blade to slash and swipe the enemies, no matter how big or small they are.

Best Honkai Star Rail Yanqing Build
Since Yanqing is a Hunt Path character, he shines very brightly as your main DPS single target character. His kit will self-buff his own CRIT Rate and additional CRIT DMG for his Ultimate if his Talent is active. He can also potentially freeze the enemy from his own follow-up attack. Thanks to this self-CRIT buff kit, you can focus on investing CRIT DMG, Ice DMG (because Yanqing is an Ice element character), and ATK.
For Yanqing’s Relics and Planar Ornament build, Hunter of Glacial Forest would be the best Relics for Yanqing since it will also buff his CRIT DMG by 25% after casting the Ultimate, and you can go with Space Sealing Station for increasing Yanqing’s ATK. If you don’t have these Relics and Planar Ornaments yet, worry not as we will list the other alternative you can choose from in this guide.
As for Yanqing’s Light Cone build, you can focus on the Hunt Path Light Cone, since we can’t activate the effect from the other Light Cone’s Path. For early – mid progression, you might don’t have enough CRIT Rate for Yanqing yet, and you’re tempted to use the CRIT Rate increase Planar Ornaments, but it’s actually not that mandatory to have CRIT Rate increase for Yanqing because he can self-buff his own CRIT Rate. We highly suggest you to go with ATK or Energy Regeneration Rate ornaments instead, since the more you can cast your Ultimate, the higher chance you will be able to get that high CRIT DMG. Only if you don’t have those Planar Ornaments, you can temporarily use the CRIT Rate Planar Ornament.
