WoTLK Classic Inscription Leveling Guide 1-450 for Wrath Classic

Here is our WoTLK Classic Inscription leveling guide 1-450. Master the art of inscribing glyphs and become a grand master in Wrath Classic!

WoTLK Classic Inscription Leveling Guide 1-450

Inscription is a unique and fun profession that was born in Wrath of the Lich King. Unlike other professions, Inscription in WoTLK actually has an impact on your gameplay via glyphs. Granted, this was removed in later expansions, but you can enjoy it in its full glory in WoTLK Classic!

Pigments

Pigments are milled from various herbs that are picked by herbalists in the world. Each tier of pigment can only drop from certain herbs.

Materials Required for 1-450

This is a rough estimate due to the randomness of milling. Don’t just mill every herb, as you’ll likely need less than what is listed here.

Jessica Sellers, the Ink Trader in Dalaran also sells inks. You can exchange them for 1 x Ink of the Sea. That means you can effectively level to 450 from just herbs in Northwich via Azure Pigment. However, as you won’t have the level to mill the herbs, you’ll need another player to mill them for you. You can also just buy Ink of the Sea from the auction house. The same obviously goes for any ink, however, they’ll likely cost much more than just milling the correct herbs.

If you’re in a rush to get to 450, you can also make the glyphs that you discover with it.

And that was our WoTLK Classic Inscription leveling guide. Congratulations on reaching 450!
