How breeding picks a size
The game ranks each parent from NORMAL to LEGENDARY by how far its size is from the average and looks the pair up in the table below. When both parents lean the same way, or one is NORMAL, the baby goes that way: two BIG parents give BIG, GIANT or LEGENDARY GIANT babies. A bigger parent with a smaller one counts as two NORMAL animals. A NORMAL baby rolls a fresh size that stays within 12.5% of average. Rare babies earn rainbow points: 2 for BIG or SMALL, 5 for GIANT or TINY and 10 for LEGENDARY.

Breed two LEGENDARY parents of the same size direction: the baby is LEGENDARY 12% of the time and GIANT or better 37%. Two NORMAL parents only give a LEGENDARY 0.2% of the time, one in 347 breeds for even odds.
Can you breed a BIG animal with a SMALL one?
You can, but the sizes cancel out. The game breeds a bigger and a smaller parent as two NORMAL animals (96% NORMAL babies) and picks the baby's direction at random. Pair BIG with BIG or SMALL with SMALL.

How much does breeding cost?
