The groups follow the nature menu's biome tabs: savanna, forest and arctic pieces only show under their own tab, the rest under all three. Plant an animal's favourites in its habitat first, since they count double. Every animal's full list is on its page under animals.

They count double towards a habitat's planting happiness, which is one of the four parts of happiness with space, food and the group. Each animal's card in the game lists its favourites.

Which plant is the favourite of the most animals?

The Great Acacia: Gazelle, Zebra, Cheetah, Giraffe, Elephant, Lion. Next are the Dry Grass (6) and the Tall Dry Grass (6).

What do pandas like?

Bamboo Grove, Young Bamboo, Bamboo Bush. The Bamboo Grove and Young Bamboo come with the Panda Pack; the Bamboo Bush unlocks at zoo level 3.
