Honkai Star Rail Bailu Story Introduction
The new character that was introduced in the Honkai: Star Rail Final Beta Access, Bailu. The young lady that can’t bear to see the suffering of people, but at the same time is well known as the “Healer Lady” by everyone in Xianzhou Luofu. Despite having a very skillful expertise in medicine, she often closed her eyes when curing the patient’s ailment due to her weakness to see suffering and pain.
Some doctor might gives prescriptions of different pills that you need to consume when you sick, but sometimes, Bailu gives different “unique” unorthodox prescriptions such as always drink enough water to stay hydrated and always sleep early so that they will get a good night’s rest. Nutrition is important like medicine, you need to have the right balance of it to heal your heart and lift your spirits!
You too can help Bailu become the best healer in the universe and help Bailu recover your teammate! In this guide, we will give you the best build for Bailu so that nobody in your team will die!
Best Honkai Star Rail Bailu Build
Since Bailu is an Abundance Path character, you only need to invest on the attribute that will increase her healing rate, which is Max HP and Outgoing Healing. Her skill will heal one character based on her Max HP, then continue to heal another 2 characters but with a lower Outgoing Healing Rate afterward. As for her Ultimate, she will heal the entire team and after that, the next two hits that any ally got from the enemies will automatically get a follow-up healing by Bailu.
For Bailu’s Relics and Planar Ornament build, if you are familiar with how to build Natasha, which we also have the guide here, then you know exactly which Relics and Planar Ornaments that you need to use. As a healer, you only need to aim for Max HP and Outgoing Healing (Energy Regeneration is optional for Bailu). There is only one Relics that fits this criteria, Passerby of Wandering Cloud, increasing Bailu’s Outgoing Healing. And for the Planar Ornament itself, you can choose different sets that will increase Bailu’s Max HP or Energy Regeneration Rate, which we would suggest you to go with the former one.
As for Bailu’s Light Cone build, you can focus on the Abundance Path Light Cone, since we can’t activate the effect from the other Light Cone’s Path. Like we have mentioned earlier, for the Light Cone you can go with the one that will increase Bailu’s Max HP or Outgoing Healing Rate.
Here are the best Light Cone, Relics, Planar Ornament, and the best Team Comp for Bailu.
Honkai Star Rail Bailu Best Light Cone
Almost all Abundance Light Cone is useful for Bailu, since there are a lot of Light Cones with Outgoing Healing increase and Max HP increase. If you are still confused about which Light Cones you need to choose, worry not, here are the lists of the Light Cones that you can choose for Bailu.
Time Waits for No One
Increases the wearer’s Max HP and Outgoing Healing by 12/15/18/21/24%.When the wearer heals allies, record the amount of Outgoing Healing. When any ally launches an attack, a random attacked enemy takes additional DMG equal to 50/62.5/75/87.5/100% of the recorded Outgoing Healing value. This additional DMG is of the same Type as the wearer’s, is not affected by other buffs, and can only occur 1 time per turn.
Bailu’s signature Light Cone and her Best in Slot Light Cone.
It will both increase her Max HP and Outgoing Healing, which will effectively increase her Healing Rate.
Increases Energy Regeneration Rate of its wearer by 8/10/12/14/16% and increases Outgoing Healing when they use their Ultimate by 12/15/18/21/24%.
If you don’t have Time Waits for No One, you can go with this Light Cone.
Compared to the other four star Light Cone, this one will give a higher healing rate due to the higher Outgoing Healing.
So if you have multiple Abundance Light Cones that you need to choose, we highly suggest you to go with this one.
g a higher Energy Regeneration Rate from building your Relics and Planar Ornaments.
Increases the wearer’s Outgoing Healing by 10/12.5/15/17.5/20%.
When using Skill, regenerates 2/2.5/3/3.5/4 Energy for all allies.
This Light Cone is great for supporting your team due to the energy regeneration.
But this Light Cone has lower Outgoing Healing rate compared to Post-Op Conversation.
If you “feel” like Bailu’s healing rate is already enough, then it’s also okay to go with this Light Cone since the energy regeneration might come in handy.
Warm Nights Won’t Last
Increases the wearer’s Max HP by 20/25/30/35/40%.
When using Basic ATK or Skill, restore all allies’ HP by an amount equal to 2/2.5/3/3.5/4% of their respective Max HP.
The “all allies healing based on their respective Max HP” is not really that efficient, so this light cone falls short behind Shared Feeling.
But other than that, this Light Cone is the alternative Light Cone that you can choose if you don’t have any other four star or five star Light Cone.
When the wearer uses their Skill or Ultimate, their Outgoing Healing increases by 12/15/18/21/24%.
This Light Cone is the F2P friendly Light Cone for Bailu and any other healers.
You can temporarily use this Light Cone at the beginning of the game progression until you found any four star or five star Light Cone.
Honkai Star Rail Bailu Best Relics
As for now, the only set effect you want to seek is the Outgoing Healing bonus, and there is only one Relics that has that effect. You can actually go with 4 set Passerby of Wandering Cloud, but even using two set alone is already enough, and you can pair those Relics with another 2 set of other support Relics too.
Passerby of Wandering Cloud
2 Set: Increases Outgoing Healing by 10%.
4 Set: At the beginning of the battle, immediately recovers 1 Skill Point.
Passerby of Wandering Cloud (2pc)
Guard of Withering Snow (2pc)
Thief of Shooting Meteor (2pc)
2 Set: Increases Outgoing Healing by 10%. (Wandering Cloud)
2 Set: Reduces DMG taken by 8%. (Withering Snow)
2 Set: Increases Break Effect by 20%. (Shooting Meteor)
Honkai Star Rail Bailu Best Planar Ornaments
As for the Planar Ornaments, you can go with either the Max HP one or the Energy Regeneration one. It’s better to go with Max HP so that Bailu can heal your team even higher. Her skill alone is already an AoE healing skill, so it’s also relatively okay if you choose Max HP instead of the Energy Regeneration Rate set effect from the Planar Ornaments.
Fleet of the Ageless
2 Set: Increases the wearer’s Max HP by 12%.
When the wearer’s SPD reaches 120 or higher, all allies’ ATK increases by 8%.
2 Set: Increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%.
When the wearer’s SPD reaches 145 or higher, the wearer’s action is Advanced Forward by 50% immediate
Honkai Star Rail Bailu Best Team Comp
Similar to any healer character, you can go very flexible and freely choose your team comp alongside Bailu. You definitely will need a DPS character, but other than that, you can go with whatever character you like too. Whether it is a team comp that follows the weakness break elements to counter the enemies or an all-out full DPS character, it’s all up to you!
Here are some examples of the team comp that you can go with Bailu.
That is how you can get the best build for Bailu. One thing you need to know, Honkai Star Rail is still in the 3rd (final) Close Beta phase, meaning that potentially there will be some adjustments and different configurations for the final release. As a five star healer character and an emergency one-time used reviver character, Bailu is definitely worth it to be placed in your team. Invest a lot in her Max HP and Outgoing Healing and you will have the best healer in Honkai Star Rail!
