Mythic Heroes Zodiac Caverns Guide 2024 (April)

This is our Mythic Heroes Zodiac Caverns guide. The creatures of this gamemode can be challenged 4 times a day and will reward their Soulseal if they are defeated. Soulseal can be used to upgrade Iconic Weapons.

Defeating each boss for the first time generates extra bonuses. The Challenge Level for that creature will then be increased, along with the rewards given.

Ankaa

Rewards: Ankaa Soulseal
Recommended Heroes: Burst

Skills

Phoenix Fire
(Passive)

Ankaa becomes an egg when it is about to die. The egg has 50% of Ankaa’s max Health. If the egg is not destroyed in the 10s, Ankaa will be resurrected. The egg shoots out fire every 2 seconds, dealing 70% damage to all Heroes. After its resurrection, Ankaa gains 1 stack of “Boiling Blood,” increasing damage dealt by 50% and damage received by 50%.

Burn Out
(Passive)

Ankaa’s auto-attacks and skills inflict “Burn” debuff onto the target for 10s, causing 30% damage per second. This effect can be stacked up to 5 times.

Flame Blast
(Active)

Ankaa targets the Hero with the highest Attack and commands magma upward from the ground to send them into the air, dealing 300% magical damage. Target will also be stunned for 1s for every 1 stacks of “Burn” debuff on them.

Draco

Rewards: Draco Soulseal
Recommended Heroes: High Mobility

Mythic Maelstrom
(Active)

At the beginning of the battle, Draco summons a tornado to cause 80% damage to nearby Heroes and stun them for 0.5s (plus adds a stack of “Scatter”). Each stack of “Scatter” increases the damage taken by 5%. If the stacks of “Scatter” reaches 20, Draco will summon a second tornado.

Draco’s Fury
(Active)

Draco casts a magic circle on the battlefield, causing 150% damage to all enemy Heroes and adding a stack of “Scatter.” If the target has 5 stacks, reduce Accuracy by 50% for 5s.

Blue Gust
(Active)

Draco casts a fierce wind, dealing 250% damage to enemies and knocking them back.

Chimaera

Rewards: Chimaera Soulseal
Recommended Heroes: Continuous Damage

Skills

Zodiac Quake
(Passive)

Every time an enemy Hero releases an Ultimate, one of the soul icons will be lit (under Chimaera’s Health Bar). When all five soul icons are lit, Chimaera summons earthquakes to deal massive damage continuously until the battle ends. Earthquakes deal 300% damage and decrease enemies’ Attack Speed by 50% every second.

Yin-Yang
(Active)

Chimaera attacks a random enemy with a Yin-Yang Fulu, causing 250% physical damage. Additionally, there is a 50%/50% chance of silencing/terrorizing the target for 8s (Silence: unable to use active skills; Terrorize: unable to use Ultimate).

Energy Fuse
(Active)

Chimaera marks the Hero with the highest Energy. In 5s, if the target has 80% or higher Energy, deal 500% damage; otherwise deal 150% damage.

Genbu

Rewards: Genbu Soulseal
Recommended Heroes: High Attack Speed

Skills

Energy Shell
(Passive)

When the battle begins, Genbu hides in his shell and gains a shield to block 150x damage (a Crit will be counted as 2x damage). The shield will reduce Genbu’s damage taken by 99% and deal a Counterattack to the source of any Crit, with damage equal to 40% of Genbu’s Attack. Also, 1 stack of “Stored Vigor” will also be added every 5s, each stack will increase the damage dealt by “Freezing Beam” 100%, and decreases target’s Accuracy by an extra 5%.

Ice Storm
(Active)

Genbu’s snake tail exhales cold air to cause hail in the area with the most enemy Heroes, dealing 75% damage per second and reducing Attack Speed by 25% for 10s.

Freezing Light
(Active)

After its shield is destroyed, Genbu launches out of his tortoise shell to shoot “Freezing Beam,” causing 400% damage and reducing Accuracy by 15% to all enemy Heroes. This effect is active the entire battle.

Baihu

Rewards: Baihu Soulseal
Recommended Heroes: Tanks

Skills

Deadly Strike
(Active)

Baihu deals 250% damage to the enemy Hero closest to it, reducing healing received by 50% for 8s.

Laceration
(Passive)

When Baihu deals damage, inflict “lacerated” on enemies. Affected targets take an extra 5% damage. This effect cannot be dispersed and stacks up to 100 times.

Blood Scent
(Active)

At the beginning of the battle, Baihu roars and marks all enemy Heroes. Baihu kills any marked Heroes with Health less than 30%. Every 10s, Baihu roars again to increase its Attack Speed by 15%.

Mythic Heroes Zodiac Caverns Lore

The area that hosts the Zodiac Caverns is a dangerous domain. Although the surrounding region is lifeless now, the area once held a vibrant rainforest. During the war between the Gods though, the area was host to an epic battle that scorched the Earth and opened a Void portal. Through this portal came beasts of epic proportions that terrorized humanity.

According to legend, an Elder God used all of their powers to trap these monsters inside the Caverns. In the caverns all the following are sealed: at the East, there is Draco who generates a tornado by simply breathing; at the South, is Ankaa who can be reborn from flames; at the West, is Baihu who has sword-sharp claws strikes; at the North, is hard-shelled and colossal Genbu; and at the axis point, at the very center, is the legendary Chimaera that specialized in Earth spells. If anyone is brave enough to challenge these creatures, their defeat yields a Soulseal Emblem, which can enhance skill attributes of Iconic Weapons.
