Titles

Titles in Abyss are cosmetic labels displayed on your character. There are 33 titles in the game, earned through achievements, quest completions, leaderboard positions, and special roles. This guide lists every title and its exact requirements.

How Titles Work

Titles appear next to your name in-game. Most are earned through gameplay milestones, but some are exclusive to staff, content creators, or specific players. You can only display one title at a time.

All Earnable Titles

These titles can be obtained by any player through normal gameplay.

Achievement-Based Titles

Title	Requirements
Rookie	Complete the tutorial.
$ Loaded	Have over $100,000 at once.
Abyss Hunter	Catch a Legendary or Mythical fish.
Abyssal Collector	Discover every fish in the game and complete the bestiary.
Collector	Complete any location in the bestiary.
Treasure Hoarder	Open 100 treasure chests.
Surprised	Get attacked by a fish for the first time.
Unbroken	Reach a 1,000 catching streak.
Heartbroken	Lose a 1,000+ catching streak.
Ascendant	Reach level 100.
Timeless Wanderer	Have over 3 days of playtime in-game.
Deepstrider	Travel 1,000,000 meters with a tube.
Tidecaller	Catch 10,000 fish.
Flush Traveler	Travel using the toilet.

Quest-Based Titles

Title	Requirements
Rooted Savior	Revive all trees in Spirit Roots by completing Isolde's quest line.
Duck Emoji	Find all ducks and open the secret door to Bob's Room.

Achievement System Titles

These titles are tied to the Achievement tier system (Abyssborn tier):

Prospector	Treasure Hunter Achievement -- Abyssborn (Find 100 treasure chests)
Bedrock	Stonebreaker Achievement -- Abyssborn (Crack 150 geodes)

Leaderboard Titles

These titles are dynamic and display your leaderboard position:

Top Catcher	Be on the Top Catcher leaderboard. Displays your rank position.
Top Richest	Be on the Top Richest leaderboard. Displays your rank position.
Top Time	Be on the Top Time leaderboard. Displays your rank position.

Gamepass Title

Supporter	Purchase the Diver Club gamepass (R$349).

Event Title

Early Tester	Play during the official public stress test.

Exclusive and Unobtainable Titles

These titles are restricted to specific individuals or roles and cannot be earned through normal gameplay.

Content Creator	Be a Content Creator for the game.
Content Manager	Be a Content Creator Manager for Abyss.
Wiki Relations	Be an Abyss Wiki Staff or Administrator.
QA Tester	Be a QA Tester for Abyss.
Moderator	Selected through Applications.
Administrator	Selected from Senior Moderator or handpicked by higher ups.
Community Manager	Exclusive to Aida.
Developer	Be an Official Developer for Abyss.
Founder	Exclusive to FireAtacck, Zestie, and Alexey.
Osaka	Exclusive to @thespeedyrobot. Unobtainable by anyone else.

Easiest Titles to Get First

Rookie -- Just complete the tutorial.
Surprised -- Get attacked by any aggressive fish. Takes seconds.
Collector -- Complete the Forgotten Deep bestiary (only 8 fish).
Flush Traveler -- Use the Scientist's teleporter toilet.
$ Loaded -- Accumulate $100,000 (don't spend it all).

Hardest Titles to Earn

Abyssal Collector -- Requires catching every single fish species in the game, across all biomes including Angler Cave.
Ascendant -- Reach level 100, which requires massive XP grinding.
Unbroken / Heartbroken -- A 1,000 catching streak requires perfect play over an extended session. Losing it after 1,000 gives you Heartbroken.
Deepstrider -- 1,000,000 meters of tube travel. Pure time investment.
Tidecaller -- 10,000 fish caught. A long-term grind.

Can I display multiple titles at once?

No. You can only show one title at a time.
