What is the best Legendary Gem in Diablo Immortal?

The best legendary gem in the game is currently the Blood-Soaked Jade. This is a very rare and powerful 5-Star gem. Not only does it boost your damage, but it also adds increased movement speed to make farming and completing rifts more efficient.

Diablo Immortal Legendary Gem Tier List: 5-Star

There are a total of three Gem ranks, with five stars being on the very top. These Gems are essential if you want to fine-tune your gear in order to be as strong as possible. 

With that being said, the strongest 5-star Legendary Gems are mentioned below:

S Tier Gems

Here are the 5-star Legendary Gems belonging to the highest quality tier:

Blood-Soaked Jade ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Blood-Soaked Jade is an extremely offensive Legendary Gem that relies on taking the initiative against your enemy. You will deal up to 8.0% more damage while experiencing a 10% boost in movement speed. However, this bonus will decrease depending on the damage you take. Therefore, make sure to grip the advantage as tightly as you can. 

Seeping Bile ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Revolving around poison itself, the Seeping Bile buffs your attacks to have a 4% chance to inflict poison debuff on the target. The affected enemies will have their health ticked off by (25% base damage + 263) damage per second. The duration of this ability is 6 seconds, while the cooldown stands at 20 seconds. 

A Tier Gems

These 5-star Gems are extremely good when it comes to utility and enchantments in Diablo Immortal:

Blessing of the Worthy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Blessing of the Worthy is a tailored Gem for tanks that want to deal health-based damage. It acts as a thorn mail and has a 20% chance of retributing the damage taken to nearby enemies. This damage scales with your maximum health, thereby making it extremely useful. 

Chip of Stoned Flesh ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Chip of Stone Flesh essentially allows you to plant a ticking bomb on any staggered enemy. Once the curse timer ticks, the enemy will take an additional 45% of the damage it took during the ticking duration. As you might’ve guessed, this ability has a 20 seconds per target cooldown. Therefore, you won’t be able to spam it on a single enemy.

S Tier Gems

The S Tier showcases the highest quality of Gems present in the 2-star category. They’re extremely sought after and can dictate the pace of a battle through their strong abilities. 

Power & Command ⭐⭐

Power & Command is a state-based passive that alternates every 9 seconds. The Power state can increase your primary attack whereas the switch to command state grants you a 10% chance to negate/ dispel debuffs and vice versa.

Fervant Fang ⭐⭐

Fervent Fang initiates stacking damage that increases with every successful hit you land. If the combo isn’t interrupted, you can theoretically reach a threshold of 18% bonus damage per hit. Surprisingly, the damage modifier isn’t limited to yourself. Rather, anyone attacking the target during the duration of the combo will deal higher damage. 

A Tier Gems

The A Tier Gem lineup contains some exceptional Gems that can be strong in most scenarios. While not as useful as the 5-star category, they can still be decent enough to devastate most PvP and PvE opponents.

Cutthroat’s Grin ⭐⭐

Cutthroat’s Grin –  as the name suggests, is a specialized Gem for assassins and players that prefer attacking from the back of the enemy. You get to experience an 8% increase in crit whenever you land a successful backstab. While this might not seem like much, certain classes don’t have any crit in their kit. Therefore, having a critical chance can help boost your damage ratio by a marginal amount.

Lightning Core ⭐⭐

Lightning Core charges you up with electricity the more you attack. Once the player has been fully charged, your next attack will unleash 90% of your base damage along with 1134 extra flat damage, thereby making it ideal for melee classes.  However, the main limitation of this gem is that the lightning only charges with physical attacks. Therefore, any abilities or spells won’t help hasten the charge.

B Tier Gems

This category contains Gems that perform fairly well given that the scenario is perfect. While they do not have many uses, the Gems can still dismantle most enemies through their passives.

The Hunger ⭐⭐

The Hunger allows you to heal back a portion of your base damage whenever you defeat an enemy. While the skill might sound broken at first, the modifier isn’t that immense. Therefore, it’s only useful when fighting against large groups while utilizing large-scale AOE attacks. 

Battleguard ⭐⭐

Unity Crystal is a defensive gem that essentially reduces the damage taken. However, the only useful part of it is that the buff applies to the entire party. Since the damage reduction isn’t that much, you can expect it to only be used by supports.

Everlasting Torment ⭐

Everlasting Torment essentially converts all critical hits into bleed effects. Your damage is inflicted over time causing the enemy to receive massive blows even while attacking. That being said, the item can only do this once every 20 seconds. However, it is still an extremely useful starter option. 

Berserker’s Eye ⭐

Berserker’s Eye is a damage-boosting gem that buffs up your damage ratio by 5.5%. However, this boost does not come without a flaw. As a consequence of using Berserker’s Eye, your defense is lowered to the point where you receive 6% extra damage. 

A Tier Gems

The A Tier Gems in the 1 Star category are notoriously known for their sufficient utility in almost every scenario. While they do tend to stand out a little bit, it’s usually recommended to upgrade to a higher tier.

Trickshot Gem ⭐

Trickshot Gem allows your main abilities to consume energy at a lower rate. While it might not account for much, being able to land additional few punches can turn the tide in certain cases.

Chained Death ⭐

Stacking damage is always a nice buff to have in 1v1 fights. While the Chained Death does allow you to leverage that, the damage ratio isn’t marginal. Therefore, you will only be hitting the targets for 1.5 * 3% of your damage. Luckily, the silver lining is that this passive can be used on a maximum of three targets, thereby giving you more room to play with. 

Ca’arsen’s Invigoration ⭐

Ca’arsen’s Invigoration is straightforward that boosts up your primary attack speed by 5.5%. Fortunately, there are no strings attached to it. Therefore, you will be able to attack much faster. However, in a game where you have to respect the boss’s damage, this ability can tend to feel a bit useless, unless you have a tank in your party.

B Tier Gems

The B Tier includes some sleeper Gems that can perform given the situation is favorable. You can theoretically have them carry you through the entirety of the mid-portion. However, the chances are rather low. 

Seled’s Weakening ⭐

Seled’s Weakening is a Legendary gem that allows you to deal an increased amount of damage after killing an elite monster. However, the modifier is limited to a 6% boost and the buff only lasts for a minute. Therefore, it can only be used in extremely specific scenarios.

Zod Stone ⭐

Zod Stone is a Legendary gem that boosts your ultimate duration by 16%. Pair this with large-scale AOE barrages and you have a decent weapon. However, it can be both favorable and harmful depending on the kind of ultimate, so make sure to devise a plan before charging in. 

The Black Rose ⭐

Black Rose allows you to summon vines. Upon impact, they have a 10% chance of rooting an attacker into place. The activation criteria for this effect require you to take damage. While that’s good and all, the immobilization time is too short with the cooldown being 20s. 

Respite Stone

Respite Stone grants a stacking damage reduction bonus that increases whenever your life decreases by another 10%. It is generally used with beginner Crusaders and can provide decent utility as long as you’re willing to factor out other the perks attached with other gems..

C Tier Gems

This category includes some of the lowest quality Gems that can still be viable as a placeholder for other gems. While they can be used, you shouldn’t expect them to perform well. 

Pain of Subjugation ⭐

Pain of Subjugation is a situational Legendary gem that boosts your attack damage by 5.5% given that your target is in a loss of control state. This can be effective if you utilize a counter-attacking build. However, it’s recommended to be replaced as soon as possible.

Defiant Soul ⭐

Deflecting damage is rather common in Diablo Immortal. The Defiant Soul essentially buffs that affect up by unleashing 64% +777 damage in a wide area given you successfully block an attack. That being said, blocking in a group of enemies is nightmarish in itself. Therefore, you won’t be able to find many uses of this gem in most scenarios. 

Nightmare Wreath ⭐

Nightmare Wreath essentially allows you to fear other enemies in a set radius whenever you kill their kin. While the fear duration is exceptionally small, getting a breather is still helpful. However, you will only be getting this once every 20 seconds, so think of it as a pleasant surprise whenever it activates.

Mocking Laughter ⭐

Mocking Laughter is a tank-based Legendary gem that taunts the enemies you primarily attack into attacking you. As you might’ve guessed, it has no practical uses in solo play. To add insult to the injury, the taunt only lasts for 2 seconds and does not work on elite monsters.
