Updated: April 30, 2022. Completely revamped and updated the tier list.
This is a Mythic Heroes Tier List for SSR & UR units. Updated for 2022. It does not include SR heroes as these are generally considered to be enhance fodder and shouldn’t be upgraded.

Please keep in mind that this list serves as guidance, and is not meant to be blindly followed. Take it with a grain of salt.
Note that early and mid game only represent ~2.5 months of gameplay, and so I advise you to consider future-proofing, and slowly build up heroes that are strong in the mid-late game. Early game carries that become less useful late are expected to be swapped out as needed while maintaining their power in elite and other modes.
Team synergy is always more important than the overall strength of a hero, and a team with good synergy will always accomplish more than a team composed of strong heroes that have little to no synergy.
Endgame (ch31+) is an entirely different game, and this guide has little to no relevance after this point. In endgame, team synergy and different strategies are key, and hero builds are often changed to best suit specific stages and heroes.
Although this guide provides potential hero synergies, please note that it takes more work than simply following a guide to create a cohesive, strong team. Furthermore, two heroes that have synergies in common may not synergize themselves.

Mythic Heroes Tier List
This is the main tier list. It can be filtered by Class, Faction & Rarity.
The heroes are rated from 1 to 10, with 10 being the best and 1 being the worst.
Hero | Early | Mid | Late | PvP | Overall | Summary | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() Iset | ![]() Support | ![]() Luminarch & Verdian | ![]() UR | Iset is a buffer with incredibly strong abilities. Her Balanced Clock allows her to deal a significant amount of damage to enemies over time, making her an important asset in longer battles, while her resurrection and attack bonuses could change the tide of a battle at any time. Iset's skills are extremely powerful, and so the best builds are the ones that maximize their uptime. | |||||||
![]() Hela | ![]() Support | ![]() Shadowarch | ![]() SSR | Hela is a hybrid support that has a wide set of tools at her disposal, such as the buffs and debuffs generated by her Foul Essence, her lifesteal and healing amplification, and heals on both her ultimate and her Dark Cure. Thanks to Hela's versatile kit, she can fit into almost any team. Hela should be built around maximizing the uptime of her healing abilities. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Oberon | ![]() Fighter | ![]() Verdian | ![]() SSR | Oberon has high sustainability incredible damage, acting as a hybrid DPS / Tank thanks to his Storm of Blades. His AoE ultimate can also dish out incredibly high damage, making Oberon one of the strongest heroes in the game with the right amount of investment. With the correct build, Oberon can chain his Storm of Blades into his AoE ultimate, making him effectively unkillable, while dishing out incredibly potent damage. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Idun | ![]() Support | ![]() Verdian | ![]() SSR | Idun is a versatile healer that can provide great utility to her team, such as debuffs through her Spirit Away, as well as burst heals and increased energy restoration in order to keep stacking ultimates for the rest of her team. With not only strong actives, but also a very powerful ultimate, Idun can either take advantage of her heals and debuffs, or rely on a faster energy cycle in her build. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Lilith | ![]() Mage | ![]() Shadowarch & Guardian | ![]() UR | Lilith shines later on in the game as a very powerful main DPS. However, she is tricky to use due to her dual forms, and just like other URS, it's very tough to build her properly unless you're willing to spend. Lilith should optimize for her massive damage potential by using runes, artifacts and divinities that maximizes it. | Axe + Fire Chakra + Dark / Lightning Staff + Air / Fire Death Waiver, Prevail, Animus | ![]() ![]() ![]() | |||||
![]() Western Queen | ![]() Support | ![]() Luminarch | ![]() SSR | Western Queen is a strong buffer-healer hybrid that excels in enhancing the strength of your main carry, as her 20% attack, attack speed, dodge, and defense buffs stay on any carry even after her death. She also has a revive on her ultimate. *Note: Western Queen bug was fixed in Patch 1.7, now she's weaker. | |||||||
![]() Lucifer | ![]() Fighter | ![]() Luminarch & Shadowarch | ![]() UR | Lucifer is a powerful DPS with plenty of skill that allow him to dominate the battlefield, whether it be through debuffs, CC, or raw damage. His versatility and usefulness in all areas of the game make him a strong choice as a DPS for many. Thanks to this versatility, Lucifer can be built in a number of ways depending on your needs. | Yasa + Air (strongly recommended) Axe + Fire / Dark Chakra + Dark New Moon, Full Moon, Vexation | ![]() ![]() ![]() | |||||
![]() Athena | ![]() Tank | ![]() Luminarch | ![]() SSR | Athena is a supportive tank that has not only great tanking ability, but also supportive power through the use of her shields, healing skills, and CC. Her good defensive skills allow her to excel as a tank in virtually any situation. Athena doesn't rely on any specific part of her kit, providing utility in multiple ways and remaining highly versatile. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Ganjiang & Moye | ![]() Mage | ![]() Guardian | ![]() SSR | G&M is a unit that requires a large amount of investment in contrast to the rest of your team, so naturally, they are best suited for early-mid game, where they can single handedly defeat teams with their nuke-style ultimate and self-sustain. After casting their ultimate, G&M are dependent solely on auto-attacks, and so this should be taken into account when building them. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Poseidon | ![]() Tank | ![]() Verdian | ![]() SSR | Poseidon is an off-tank with strong utility abilities and amazing CC that allows him to singlehandedly turn any type of battle with his ultimate. Although Poseidon relies lacking on his Tidal Wave to make up for his lack of self-sustain or tankiness in contrast to other tanks, his unorthodox supportive playstyle shouldn't be ignored. Poseidon can make up for his lack of tankiness and self-sustain through his build. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Tamamo No Mae | ![]() Mage | ![]() Verdian | ![]() SSR | Tamamo-no-Mae is a burst damage mage that relies on her Fox Fires to deal devastating single-target damage. Her passive teleportation allows her to run through backlines with ease, while also proving useful as an escape mechanism. Tamamo can either be built as a slippery mage that goes in and out of different skirmishes, or as a powerful single-target burst DPS. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Anubis | ![]() Tank | ![]() Shadowarch | ![]() SSR | Anubis is a tank with strong diversion and debuffing abilities, utilising his mummies in order to distract and damage enemy backline heroes, while also minimizing damage taken and applying debuffs, making him a great hero with a combination of sustain, debuffs, disruption, and innate tankiness. Being a traditional tank, Anubis wants to minimize the damage he takes. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Nagakayna | ![]() Support | ![]() Verdian | ![]() SSR | Nagakayna is a sustain healer that has many tools at her disposal in order to assist her team. With a team-wide CC remover, shielding, her own form of CC, and also constant %HP healing, Nagakayna fits in any team, providing amazing utility under all circumstances. With so many tools available at her disposal, Nagakayna can be built in a number of ways. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Susanoo | ![]() Fighter | ![]() Luminarch | ![]() SSR | Susanoo is an assassin with a variety of tools that allow him to become an incredible carry. His high damage, high pressure playstyle allows players to control the battlefield and snipe important targets, such as backline DPS's, supports, and healers. Susanoo is a glass cannon, and needs both survivability and damage in his build. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Izanami | ![]() Mage | ![]() Shadowarch | ![]() SSR | Izanami is the quintessential early game carry, being her own tank, healer and damage dealer, with potent AoE damage and stacking ghosts to win anything from short, burst fights, to longer, sustain- focused ones. However, she must be invested in for her to provide any utility. Filling so many roles as a one-man army, Izanami can be built in many different ways. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Hercules | ![]() Tank | ![]() Guardian | ![]() SSR | Hercules is a tank with strong scaling damage reduction abilities that allow both him and other heroes in his team to stand in the frontline, tanking high-damage enemies thanks to his Provoke. Paired with his self-healing, Hercules is incredibly useful as a meat shield, and is usually the last man standing on any team. Acting as a damage sponge for the rest of his team, Herc benefits from tanky runes. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Nuwa | ![]() Support | ![]() Guardian & Verdian | ![]() UR | Nuwa is a team buffer, providing powerful boosts to all hero types, as well as CC immunity. She also has the ability to use remove enemies from fights using her Pillars of the Sky, allowing for incredible team upsets. In order to fully utilize Nuwa to her full potential, players must build her by maximizing the strength of her game-changing skill. | |||||||
![]() Zeus | ![]() Mage | ![]() Luminarch | ![]() SSR | Zeus is a powerful burst AoE mage that deals % of health true damage, making him strong in later stages of the game. His incredibly high damage can wipe teams in seconds, but his lack of versatility and squishiness should be accounted for. Zeus should be built with maximizing his damage potential on his ultimate and other skills, while having him rely on his team for survivability. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Flora | ![]() Mage | ![]() Verdian | ![]() SSR | Once Flora unlocks the stun on her ultimate and passive, she can become very threatening, and her ability to deal % of HP true damage make her shine later in the game as one of the best DPS's available. For Flora to be effective, her build should focus on maximizing the damage dealt by her ultimate and Drifting Petals. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Cassandra | ![]() Support | ![]() Guardian | ![]() SSR | Cassandra is a healer with a unique passive, Guardian Spirit, that allows her to stay on the battlefield even after taking lethal damage. Thanks to not only this skil but also her ultimate, Cassandra shines in earlier stages, where she needs little to no investment, while providing tons of healing As Cassandra only has healing abilities in her kit, it is recommended to build her by maximizing her total healing output. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Medusa (Support) | ![]() Fighter | ![]() Shadowarch | ![]() SSR | Although Medusa is traditionally a DPS, she finds the most success as a support - especially after unlocking IW400, allowing her to stunlock entire teams, while also removing energy with her Venomous Snakes. Medusa has 2 build paths, either focusing on her damage, or on her supportive abilities. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Artemis | ![]() Fighter | ![]() Luminarch | ![]() SSR | Artemis is a hero that requires a lot of investment to become great, so players have the most success using her in later stages. Even then, her squishiness and lack of versatility need to be played around by building your team comp around her. Being one of the best single-target DPS's in the game, it is recommended to use divs, runes, and artifacts that maximize it. | Axe + Fire / Thunder Staff + Fire / Thunder Yasa + Air / Fire Spotlight, Savvy | ![]() ![]() | |||||
![]() Gaia | ![]() Tank | ![]() Verdian | ![]() SSR | Gaia is a tank that specializes in disrupting enemy teams while staying incredibly tanky for the entire duration o a fight. Thanks to her great scaling, she excels in longer, drawn out fights where she can remain a primary target, while CCing the enemy team. Gaia relies on her incredible tankiness and disruption abilities, so her build options are not very flexible. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Faust | ![]() Support | ![]() Shadowarch | ![]() SSR | Faust is a utility support that provides plenty of CC abilities and debuffs. Furthermore, his active, Sins Befell, is unique, allowing him to disrupt an entire team battle by effectively removing a hero at the start of the fight. Thanks to his many different uses in combat, Faust can be built in many different ways depending on your needs. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Hades | ![]() Tank | ![]() Shadowarch | ![]() SSR | Hades is an off-tank with great offensive potential to compensate for his lack of tankiness in contrast to other, more traditional tanks. The true damage execute on his ultimate can cut fights short by eliminating both high priority targets, as well as other frontline tanks. His self-sustainability and damage allow him to stay relevant whether or not he has supports and DPSes behind him. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Lu Bu | ![]() Fighter | ![]() Guardian | ![]() SSR | Lu Bu is a hero that requires proper supports for him to function properly, however, with enough focus, he can function as an extremely potent single- target damage dealer, that can rip through frontlines while tanking damage himself. Lu Bu should be built around his strong single target damage and his life steal that grows stronger in extended fights. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Typhon | ![]() Tank | Shadowarch & Verdian | ![]() UR | Typhon is a versatile tank with both strong supportive abilities, as well as potent damage-dealing. Thanks to his Titan Shield and team-wide ally buffs, Typhon can be a valuable asset, while still dealing high percentage of max health true damage when his shield is destroyed. Typhon is a highly versatile character, being able to support, deal damage, and tank all at the same time. | Shield + Earth / Light Hammer + Fire (situational) Colossus, Night | ![]() ![]() | |||||
![]() Cleopatra | ![]() Mage | ![]() Guardian | ![]() SSR | Cleopatra is a very AoE heavy hero that uses stacks to build up her damage overtime. Her large AoE makes her an amazing early carry, but she is also quite strong later on thanks to her damage over time and great anti-heal. As Cleo has a lot of active skills, a possible build is CDR, however, taking advantage of her DoT can also have great results. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Persephone | ![]() Mage | ![]() Shadowarch | ![]() SSR | Persephone is a supportive Sub-DPS that can apply multiple debuffs on the enemy team. Persephone has a global physical damage reduction as her passive, while also reducing healing received by enemies, and dispersing all buffs received by the enemy with the most buffs. Persephone wants to be constantly using her skills in order to apply as many debuffs, however, she is also very squishy. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Thor | ![]() Tank | ![]() Luminarch | ![]() SSR | Thor is a tank that relies on his incredible tankiness and self-sustain to stay on the battlefield and slow down his enemies periodically. With a shield, damage reduction, self-healing, and a max health increase on his ultimate, Thor is one of the tankiest heroes you can use in Mythic Heroes. Thor should amplify his strengths through his build, building Hammer and tankiness. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Joan of Arc | ![]() Support | ![]() Guardian | ![]() SSR | Joan of Arc is a supportive tank that, unlike most other tanks, has not only great self-sustain, but can also peel and buff her ally carries. Her AoE attack speed boost and powerful CC allows her to shine in the frontline, blocking damage with her own ultimate in case she ever loses too much HP. Although Joan of Arc a support, her playstyle is much more like that of a tank, and so players should build her accordingly. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Medusa (DPS) | ![]() Fighter | ![]() Shadowarch | ![]() SSR | Although Medusa needs a lot of investment to become a reliable carry, she also functions poorly at a level deficit, and so it is hard to effectively use her as a main DPS. As such, most players tend to opt for building Medusa in a supportive, or secondary DPS style. As a main DPS, Medusa relies on her auto-attack passives in order to deal a lot of damage. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Archimedes | ![]() Fighter | ![]() Guardian | ![]() SSR | Archimedes as a carry is outshined by other characters, as he is very squishy and has little utility, however, with a good team built around him, he can dish out surprisingly high damage against stronger enemies. Archimedes' damage is solely reliant on getting his ultimate off and auto-attacking a lot, and so his runes take this into account. | Staff + Fire / Thunder Axe + Fire / Thunder Torment, Prevail, Colossus | ![]() ![]() | |||||
![]() Dionysus | ![]() Support | ![]() Luminarch | ![]() SSR | Although Dionysus is traditionally weaker than his alternatives, his single target debuffs make him the best hero in the game to build for strong bossfighting. Thanks to this niche use, he should not be disregarded despite his lack of utility in other areas of the game. Dionysus should be built around his debuffs on his active skills. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||
![]() Odin | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A | ![]() Tank | ![]() Luminarch | ![]() SSR | Odin is a new hero that's just been released in patch 1.8. Rating coming soon. | ||
![]() Loki | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A | ![]() Fighter | ![]() Shadowarch | ![]() SSR | Loki is a new hero that was added in patch 1.7. Rating coming soon. | ||
![]() Amaterasu | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A | ![]() Mage | Luminarch & Guardian | ![]() SSR | Amaterasu is the latest UR hero to be added to the game. Rating coming soon. |
SR Heroes
As mentioned above, SR heroes are mainly used as enhance fodder for SSR/UR heroes, so they’re not included in the main Mythic Heroes tier list.
However, obviously, not everyone will have a full roster of those heroes in the beginning, and sometimes you might need to fill the gaps.
Here’s a list of semi-useful SR Heroes:
- Muse – Support. She can Heal allies and can also stun enemies.
- Hippolyta – Tank. She has a Battle Cry that affects all allies. It recovers 20/25% HP and increases attack speed by 15%/20%.
- Dracula – Mage. Can work as a carry.
- Yukkiona – Mage. Reduces enemy attack speed. Possible carry.
- Ganesha – Tank. He can stun enemies.
- Baldur – Fighter. He is actually pretty tanky.

Pleaaaaaase add Loki in, I need to know !!!😭😭
Add western queen please
I really feel like Artemis is underrated on every tier list I’ve ever seen. I suppose o e of her major downsides is she’s not available from any of the shops so she’s very unfriendly for f2p, but she’s been my focus the whole time as I’ve always been a fan of her. At the end of the day I know putting a lot in to a character is always going to cause them to outperform those with less invested, but I’m not just comparing her to my roster. In pvp I always just put her across from whoever I need dead and they’re gone in one volley. GM, Lucifer, Izanami, and Susanoo all get 1 shot no matter what ascension, enhancement or divinity lvl they are. Admittedly with Susanoo put Athena opposite him to absorb his bs teleport stun but he is still promptly murdered.
Add poseidon please
Is ascending really important? Because I have Lucifer, Nuwa, Susanoo, GM but I cant ascend them because I’m only F2P
Ascension is super important as it allows you to break through stages where u r stucked.
I do not know if the nerfed Lilith or not, but she is an absolute tiger as long as you have 1 more Shadowarch than you do Guardians on the team.
Certain heroes only scale out of control until certain levels, i.e Susanoo past 181 becomes godlike, Lucifer too, both hard carries though so invest heavily into them if you’re building a team around them.
ey what about a new hero “HELA”
Is Hades a good unit?
He is a good tank if you play with lucifer or other shadowarch characters
Lu Bu needs updated on this list, the man is unstoppable if he has a healer behind him
Also Lucifer doesn’t seem that good, atleast early on, he’s the same level as my other heroes and higher enhancement with good equipment but yet he dies fast and does little damage compared to GM, Persephone, and Susanoo
Lucifer is pretty “glassy” early on, but he is an absolute monster as you upgrade him… It’s totally worth it the material investment
Lilith is way too underrated she literally just smacked my whole team pretty much by herself
Have iset bugs been patched?
im using lucifer, athena, thor and idun, is this line ok?
I’m using Lucifer, Athena, Susanoo, Nuwa, and Ganjiang & Moye. Is there any heroes that I should switch? I’m still a new player so I don’t really know that much
great team, very similar to mine, but instead of susanoo i use idun so i have a dedicated healer, meanwhile luci and gm are enough to dmg
Lucifer Athena Tamamo Susanoo Idun, is this line up good?
Yeah, that’s good
Going against Yggdrasil, AoE Heroes are recommended. Zeus and Medusa are listed above as AoE, but no others (although there is a reference to Persephone having an AoE effect that I don’t understand.)
I’m going with Medusa, Lucifer, Artemis, Idun, and Zeus. Comments?
So from what i can take from this list the best team comp is: athena, lucifer, gm, susanoo, nuwa
Correct?
nope, you are short of a healer there, i woul wsitch gm or susanoo (prob susanoo) for an Idun, maybe Cassadra, she is very good too
As both Nuwa and Athena have excellent healing and survivability tools for your whole team, I would disagree that you need another dedicated healer. I feel like Idun is way overrated personally.
Ultimately the “best” team is who you’ve invested the most in. A Lucifer who hasn’t been ascended at all is ultimately going to do much less for a team than an objectively worse hero with significant investment. I would advise focusing on who you can reliably invest in (Shards you’ve pulled, or ones available from the shops)
Hi, I wonder if u could rate my team:
Front lane: Idun and Athena. Back lane: Izanami, Ganjiang & Moye and Arthemis.
What happen to iset why she is too weak??
Could you pls update it? there are 2 new Heros. Flora and Thor
Flora is listed. Thor was just released today, so no one can really say anything about him yet.
thx for updating it ^^
I’m not sure what tank to use with my team (Ganjiang & Moye, Lucifer, Idun, Dionysus, and Tomamo no Mae)
I am f2p and not sure what tank to invest it
If Ganjiang & Moye is your main carry and overleveled, then they can tank. Same with Lucifer.
If you really want a dedicated tank though, replace Dionysus with Hades or Athena on the campaign (keep him for bosses).
is there any SR character that can be useful at all? or they are just fodder because of low base stat and whatnot?
I will add a list of semi-useful SR heroes.
I use: Idun, Ganjiang & Moye, Athena, Persefone, and arthemis.
(Ganjiang & Moye and Athena on front line)
Im f2p, do u think is good?
Pretty good
i got lilith and iset, is it worth using both?
Btw thanks for the Guide
Sorry to let you know, both are really bad UR’s
How though lillith is keeping up with a legendary ascended lucifer
Izanami?
Great hero!
Just wanted to note: Iset is Luminarch and Verdian, not Shadowarch and Guardian.
Thanks for noticing that! It’s been corrected now.
Why is iset C tier
She’s bugged.
Despite her bug, if She worked peoperly, could be a good pick?
Iset revive skill works for me
wery usefull, thanks
Glad it helped you!
what about iset?
Currently bugged, not worth investing in.
Hey! We love your Guide! Would you be ok with us sharing this on our Official Social pages?
Sure, no problem!
sir can you make a guide for equipment as well please
Added builds to the list!
Good list. Needs an update. New UR missing
Added!
I don’t understand how passive and active skills are different things, since i can see heroes using both, can both be affected by cd reduction? Are there skills that heroes only use once?
How to reroll?
what about lilith?
She’s just been added to the game, so there’s not been a huge amount of testing done with her. However, I don’t rate her too highly. Not worth aiming for IMO.
What are you thinking about this lineup:
Nuwa,Idun,Athena,Hades, Ganjiang & Moye
Should I change something etc? I’m f2p player
I wouldn’t use 2 tanks. Over-level Ganjiang & Moye and use them as the main carry, then they can basically act as a tank as well.
Okay, so only Ganjiang & Moye as a tank or with Hades/Athena? I got some ideas. Can you tell me which lineup would be the best in your opinion?
a) Lucifer, Ganjiang & Moye, Idun, Athena, Tamamo no Mae
b) Nuwa, Ganjiang & Moye, Idun, Athena, Tamamo no Mae
c) Lucifer, Ganjiang & Moye, Idun, Tamamo no Mae, Nagakayna
Or maybe something else?
Please update this tier list, its massively off. Prime example, you have the only person with widespread heal reduction labeled as B tier.
The list has been updated to include weapons and boss performance.
ohh nice there is a guide good job
