Diablo Immortal Class Tier List 2024 (April) Best Classes

One of the first things you’ll need to do in Diablo Immortal is to decide which of the six different classes to play.

This is likely the single most crucial decision in the game to make, and you’ve got to do it as soon as you log in! So we’ve decided to make a Diablo Immortal class tier list guide to help you make that key decision.

You can make up to 4 different alt characters, so there is nothing permanent about your choice. However, due to the nature of how progression works in Diablo Immortal, it’s generally best to stick to just one class.

If you’re not 60 yet and you’ve picked a class that you don’t like, feel free to reroll though!

With that said, here is our Diablo Immortal class tier list guide to give you a little insight into which classes are the best overall to play.

Diablo Immortal Class Tier List

This is a general Diablo Immortal class tier list. We also have a Diablo Immortal legendary gem tier list to check out as well.

Full disclaimer: the rankings can and will change throughout the game’s life cycle. That’s just the nature of aRPGs, gacha games, and Blizzard games in general.

It should also be noted that ALL of the six classes in Diablo Immortal are extremely viable at endgame due to how stats and power scaling in the game work. You’re not going to be stuck with a “bad” class that can’t clear content.

My very hypocritical advice is to ignore this list and pick the class fantasy you enjoy playing the most. If you loved playing Demon Hunter in Diablo III, then play it in this game as well!

I would also consider making your class decision based on who you’re going to play with at launch and try to ensure that everyone has a different class in the group. This is because each class brings a unique buff, and the same ones do not stack with each other.

S Tier

Demon Hunter

Demon Hunters are currently the strongest single-target damage dealers in the game. They are, overall, the best class for PvE.

Barbarian

Barbarians have high survivability and extremely high mobility via Undying Rage, Whirlwind, and Sprint. This makes them a very strong class for both PvE and PvP.

Crusader

Crusader excels at group-based PvE and PvP. Its support skills, along with high mobility make it an essential class for any team to have on their side.

A Tier

Monk

Monk has a very strong kit for crowd control, with abilities such as Imprisoned Fist. This makes it great for PvP. However, it’s a little bit average for PvE at the moment.

Necromancer

Necromancer is a class that can absolutely dominate early on in the season, as pet-based builds tend to excel earlier on. Other classes do eventually catch up to it later on though.

Wizard

Wizard has both strong AoE and single-target damage, but it also has a higher skill cap to play. At the moment it doesn’t really excel at anything, however, it has huge potential to be the best class in certain game modes.

Diablo Immortal Solo Speed Farming Tier List

This Diablo Immortal class tier list is focused on solo speed farming content such as Elder Rifts, Bounties, Side Quests, Tasks, and Lairs. These are the activities you’ll be doing on a daily basis, so saving your time by completing them quicker is extremely valuable.

S Tier

Demon Hunter

Demon Hunters are currently the strongest class for PvE. Using a Crossbow Shot build will absolutely annihilate most content very quickly.

Barbarian

Barbarians have very high mobility via Undying Rage, Whirlwind, and Sprint. This makes them ideal for solo speed farming.

Crusader

Crusaders also have high mobility. Using a build that focuses on Draw and Quarter will allow you to deal massive amounts of damage while moving with your celestial horse. This makes them insane at solo speed farming content.

A Tier

Necromancer

Pet builds are always strong for early on in a season. When using a Summoner build, skills like Command Skeletons, Command Golem, and Skeletal Mage will have almost no downtime.

Wizard

Wizards can utilize skills such as Teleport and Lightning Nova combined with The Siphon to have amazing mobility for solo farming.

b Tier

Monk

Monk is decent for solo farming with builds that focus on Exploding Palm and Seven-Sided Strike, but it does tend to fall behind the other classes.

Diablo Immortal Group Challenge Rift Tier List

This Diablo Immortal class tier list is focused on group play in the Challenge Rifts game mode.

S Tier

Demon Hunter

Demon Hunters are currently the best class for Challenge Rifts due to their extremely high single-target damage. This is amazing for Rift Guardians.

A Tier

Barbarian

High survivability and extremely high mobility via Undying Rage, Whirlwind, and Sprint. This makes them a solid pick for Challenge Rifts.

Monk

A build focused on Mythic Allies is extremely strong in Challenge Rifts, for both group and solo play.

Necromancer

Pet classes will likely be one of the best early on, so Necromancer will be very good for Challenge Rifts during the launch period of the game.

Crusader

Crusader brings many powerful support skills to the group, including Holy Banner and Conjuration of Light.

b Tier

Wizard

Wizards don’t really bring that much to groups for Challenge Rifts. However, they do have very good AoE damage and are still very viable to bring.
