How Long It Takes To Beat Fallout 4?
Just like previous Bethesda games, you can have one of four possible endings by joining one of four major factions of Fallout 4: The Minutemen, The Institute, The Railroad, and Brotherhood of Steel.
Finishing The Main Campaign
Unlike previous games, the Fallout 4 ending cutscene does not change based on how the Sole Survivor has finished most side quests or interacted with NPCs. You can complete almost all quests for all four factions until a certain point where you will have to side with one of four factions and decide the fate of wasteland.
If you side with The Institute you will have to complete the Nuclear Family questline. All other factions give the player the same The Nuclear Option quest separately but depending upon which faction you side with, the outcome of every single quest will be different.

There are 3 DLCs, one of the best DLCs the Fallout games have to offer, which add additional quests, collectibles, and storylines.
Automatron
Automatron is the first story downloadable content released for Fallout 4. In this DLC the sole survivor investigates the mysterious Mechanist, and it also introduces a variety of new supporting characters. It also introduces a new mechanic where it lets players modify their robot companions or build entirely new automatrons.
Automatron can be completed in just five hours. Though this DLC is short, it does introduce some exciting mechanics and interesting characters.
Far Harbor
Far Harbor is the second story DLC. It introduces a whole new island for the player to explore. The sole survivor will have to take a boat to reach this island. This DLC also introduces new enemies, weapons, factions, and characters. This is one of the best additional content released for Fallout 4.
It takes 6 hours to complete the Far Harbor’s main questline. If you want to complete everything on this island, then it will take close to 20 hours. It is the most beloved content released for Fallout 4 due to its complex narrative, new factions, and a beautiful island to explore.
Nuka World
Nuka World is the last DLC released for Fallout 4. It introduces a massive theme park for you to explore, as well as allows the sole survivor to play as a raider. You can find some of the best weapons the entire game has to offer in Nuka World. Nuka-World introduces new locations, characters, and factions.
Nuka World is the longest downloadable content released for Fallout 4. It will take almost 11 hours to complete the main story of this DLC. If you want to complete all the side quests and find all collectibles, it will take you over 20 hours to finish everything.
