Golden Vow Incantation is in a shack at Mt. Gelmir. You will have to first access Altus Plateau to get to Mt. Gelmir. After entering Mt. Gelmir through the bridge in the northwest of the Altus Plateau. Keep on moving through the soldier camp and continue moving up the mountain until you reach Corpse-Stench Shack.

You need to have 25 points in Faith to use the Golden Vow incantation. Golden Vow costs 47 FP and 50 stamina to cast, as well as occupies one memory slot.

Golden Vow only lasts for 80 seconds by default, but we can also increase it with the help of a talisman called Old Lord’s Talisman. It increases the duration of spells by 30%, so it is a great talisman not only for Golden Vow but for other Incantations as well. This talisman can be obtained from Crumbling Farum Azula.

Golden Vow boosts the attack and defensive stats for yourself and your coop partners. In PVE, Golden Vow boosts your attacking power by 15%, as well as boosts damage negation by 10%. In PVP, you only get half the benefit of Golden Vow as it boosts the attacking power by 7.5% and damage negation by 5%. 

Just like the previous From title, You can stack the effects of one spell over another to get a greater boost in stats. You can cast Flame, Grant me Strength to multiplicatively stack the damage of both spells. 

The damage reduction of Golden Vow stacks multiplicatively with food buffs such as Boiled Crabs. Golden Vow also stacks with Black Flame’s Protection, Protection of the Erdtree, and Ash of War: Royal Knight’s Resolve. Golden Vow is an Aura buff and will not stack with other buffs of the same type.

If you do want to spend 25 points in Faith, then you can also use the Golden Vow weapon skills to boost your stats. You can use this Ash of War on almost all the weapons in the game. It provides the same effect as the Golden Vow incantation does and can also be stacked with incantations.

Golden Vow Ash of War is dropped by a mounted Godrick Knight after you defeat him on the cliff southwest above the Deathtouched Catacombs.
