SkyBlock is one of the most popular and well-known Minecraft maps on the planet. It has also become a very popular game mode on Minecraft servers.

The concept of the game is extremely simple, and at face value, you might think, “is this it”? After all, it’s just a few floating blocks and a single tree.

However, the real value in SkyBlock came from the well-thought-out challenges that must be completed. This is something that many newer sky island survival maps lack.

Minecraft SkyBlock Challenges List

Here is the complete Minecraft SkyBlock challenges list for version 2.1 of the original map. There are fifty in total to complete. However, challenge 19 can be skipped on newer versions of Minecraft.

1. Build a Cobble Stone generator.
2. Build a house.
3. Expand the island.
4. Make a melon farm.
5. Make a pumpkin farm.
6. Make a reed/sugarcane farm.
7. Make a wheat farm.
8. Make a giant red mushroom.
9. Craft a bed.
10. Make 64 stone bricks.
11. Make 20 torches.
12. Make an infinite water source.
13. Craft a furnace.
14. Make a small lake.
15. Build a platform 24 blocks away from the island for mobs to spawn.
16. Make ten cactus green dye.
17. Make ten mushroom stews.
18. Craft 10 Jack ‘o’ lanterns.
19. Craft 10 bookcases. (As of Minecraft 1.3, crafting bookcases is only possible if cows spawn on your island)
20. Make ten pieces of bread.
21. Collect 10 Ender pearls.
22. Cook ten fish.
23. Craft ten Black Wool.
24. Craft ten Gray Wool.
25. Craft ten Light Gray Wool.
26. Craft ten Lime Green Wool.
27. Craft ten Red Wool.
28. Craft ten Yellow Wool.
29. Craft ten Pink Wool.
30. Craft ten Green Wool.
31. Craft ten Orange Wool.
32. Craft ten Snow Golems.
33. Craft twenty Paintings.
34. Build and light a nether portal.
35. Craft five Gold Ingots.
36. Craft sixteen Glass Panes.
37. Collect fifty birch logs.
38. Collect sixty-four arrows and craft a bow.
39. Craft ten stone buttons.
40. Craft thirty stone slabs.
41. Craft ten signs.
42. Craft twenty ladders.
