As a starter, your main goal should be to invest in real estate as much as possible. Consequently, you also need to avoid being stingy with your building abilities. That being said, make sure to grab as many bonuses for yourself along the way.

Needless to say, there is a lot to learn in order to progress in a new ARPG. Therefore, having some sort of guide can go far in preventing you from making bad decisions.

In this guide, I will be showing you the most regretful mistakes you can make as a beginner in V Rising. We will analyze each mistake in-depth, so let’s dive in and get started.

Top Mistakes In V Rising

Making mistakes as a newbie is common no matter the game. There is not much you can do once the deed is done. Thus, it’s always better to avoid them as much as possible in order to have a smooth and progressive gaming experience.

With that being said, here are the most common mistakes that you should avoid in V Rising:

Mistake #1: Ignoring Real Estate

Building a Castle is an integral portion of the game. In order to do that, you need to have a lot of real estates. This is mainly due to the fact that the Castle is expandable, and you need to stretch it as wide as possible in order to expand your influence.

Furthermore, as the game goes on – more and more players will start purchasing real estate, thereby making it extremely scarce for when your turn comes. Thus, it’s always recommended to horde it as early as possible.

Mistake #2: Cheaping Out on Bloodpress

Sourcing Greater Blood Essence in the earlier portion of the game is impossible – unless, you have a Blood Press to produce Unsullied Hearts. This item becomes extremely integral if you want to get stronger as fast as possible.

For example, you could be consuming tainted hearts all day long, but a Greater Blood Essence is generally enough to top all of that effort in a fraction of a second. Lacking Unsullied Hearts can dramatically slow you down, so make sure to cherish them.

Mistake #3: Starving Your Horses

Horses are mounts that enable you to travel to a location much faster than you would on foot. They are marginally difficult to source in the early portion of the game and can die if not fed in a timely manner.

Unfortunately, the game does not have a strong identifier for their hunger levels. Therefore, it’s a good practice to fill their inventories with water canteens on a regular basis.

Mistake #4: Ignoring Quests

Quests are generally your main method of progression in the world of Vardoran. They enable your character to follow a laid-out path for attaining strength and progressing through the story. Unfortunately, certain main quests can feel extremely menial and boring.

Players tend to ignore such quests because there are other factors and items to upgrade. At a certain point in the game, you begin to see a multitude of methods of getting things up and running. However, most of them are temporary, so it’s always better to go for main quests instead.

Conclusion

Having said that, it’s generally common for new players to make mistakes. Each and every game hosts a unique environment for the player to strive in, and with that comes new and unique challenges that you need to overcome. Therefore, good luck on your quests out there adventurer!
